    Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable simple turnover of a multi-row transplanting machine into the housing attitude with its dimension minimized in the traverse direction. CONSTITUTION: The transplanting unit is divided into two parts AL and AR and they are rotated respectively around the upright-standing first and second shaft axes X1 and X2 so that the widthwise outer edge of the divided AL and AR are turned to the front side of the running machine body and simultaneously the divided AL and AR are moved to the right and left centers of the body so that they may be turned to the housing attitude where the divided seedling platforms 13L and 13R come close to each other at their top edges. Further, this machine is equipped with an interlocking mechanism for interlocking the rotations of the divided parts on both left and right sides and an electric motor for driving the rotation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a stem culm position detector of miniaturized sealed structure, reduced in member cost, useful for a combine harvester, etc., so designed that a detecting body to come into contact with a stem culm is set up on a revolving shaft projected from a rotation detecting section and supported revolvably in such a state as to be energized returnably to a set rotating phase. A sealant 20 with resin lip is internally engagedly held in the cylindrical portion 18 projected from the rotation detecting section K so as to cover the periphery of a part of the revolving shaft 7 projected from said section K, and an annular member 21 is formed so as to be externally engageadly held on the revolving shaft 7 with its outer peripheral edge situated against the tip edge of the cylindrical portion 18 in a close proximity manner; besides, said sealant 20 is provided with a 1st lip 20a being in contact with the outer surface of the revolving shaft 7 and a 2nd lip 20b being in contact with the side face of the annular member 21.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the number of constituent parts by engaging a vibration- proof rubber member with a transverse frame in a specific state. CONSTITUTION:The thresher-loading structure of a combine harvester is characterized by making up a transverse frame 10 from an approximately U-shaped cross-sectional channel material and fitting, loading and fixing a vibration-proof rubber member 11 to the transverse frame 10. The relative shapes of the vibration-proof rubber member and the transverse frame are set so that the non-fitted upper part of the vibration-proof rubber member is deformed by a load into a transversely expanded shape where the vibration-proof rubber member has an upward expanded shape press-contacting with the upper surfaces of flange parts 10a, 10b, thereby permitting to effectively control the slippage movement of the thresher in the transverse direction.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten the time to attain the optimum car speed in a regular reaping step after the initial reaping step and suppress the deterioration in operating efficiency by effectively utilizing sensed information on the car speed in the initial reaping step. CONSTITUTION:The car speed controller for a combine harvester is equipped with a load sensing means (engine speed sensor) [(S6), H] for sensing the engine load, a car speed controlling means (controller) (H) for performing the speed change of a speed change device 22 for travel at the set speed so as to maintain the engine load within the target load range based on the information from the load sensing means [(S6), H] and a car speed sensing means (S5) for sensing the car speed. In this car speed controller, a setting means 32 for the number of reaping rows for setting the number of reaping rows in the initial reaping step and the subsequent regular reaping step is installed and the optimum car speed is determined so as to keep the engine load within the target load range in the regular reaping step based on the set information from the setting means 32 for the number of reaping rows and sensed information from the car speed setting means (S5) in the initial reaping step by the car speed controlling means (H). The speed change device 22 is subjected to the speed change operation at a higher speed than the set speed after transferring to the regular reaping step until the car speed attains the optimum car speed.
