Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the occurrence of wear of a contact part by conveying a liquid refrigerant in a chamber formed by surrounding it with the sides of a cylinder, a piston, a vane, and a main and auxiliary cylinders, and providing a bearing which supports a shaft on both sides of the cylinder and forms a rolling bearing filled with grease. CONSTITUTION:When a shaft 20 is rotated by a motor comprising a stator 3 and a rotor 4, a roller 6 is eccentrically rotated. A liquid refrigerant guided through a pipe 11 to a cylinder 7 is compressed and discharged through a port 10 to a case 2, the liquid refrigerant being discharged through a pipe 12. In this case, a reaction force generated occasioned by compression of the liquid refrigerant is transmitted through the roller 6 to the shaft 20. The shaft 20 is rotatably supported by roll bearings 23 and 24 running-fitted in main and auxiliary bearings 21 and 22. The roll bearing 23 (24 also) is constituted such that a chamber 23f surrounded with an outer ring 23a, an inner ring 23d, and a sealant 23e is filled with grease, and a liquid escape groove 25 is formed in the surface of a shaft positioned on the under surface of the roll bearing 23.
