Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating type compressor to prevent the occurrence of local slide and gouging to a slide part between a cylinder and a piston and perform stable and smooth rectilinear advance of a piston. SOLUTION: A compression chamber 10 is formed between the top face 5b of a piston 5 and a cylinder 4 and the piston 5 is coupled to the rotor of a linear motor to make reciprocating rectilinear advance. In a so formed reciprocating type compressor, a groove 11a intermittently or continuously extending in a peripheral direction is formed in the side peripheral surface 5a of the piston 5 and a number of communicating grooves 11b to perform intercommunication between the groove 11a and the top face 5b of the piston 5 are formed in the side peripheral surface 5a.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration type compressor for coolant cycle, in which adjacent arms are prevented from making contact with each other without adding a member for holding a gap between flat plates composed of resilient members stacked one upon another, in order to prevent abrasion and slide loss caused by slide motion between the arms, and to prevent the refrigerating capacity from being lowered caused by an increase in the weight of a movable element. SOLUTION: Flat plates 19 each having a slit 20a and an arm 21a which is narrower than the slit 20a, and formed of a resilient member, are stacked one upon another so that the arms 21a and the slits 20a are alternately faced with one another. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent abrasion and slide loss which are caused by sliding between the arms 21a, without adding a member for holding a gap between the flat plates 19, and to prevent the refrigerating capacity from being lowered caused by an increase in the weight of a movable element.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability by prevent any wear due to a lubricating failure in the sliding part of a thrust bearing in time of compressor starting, in this hermetic compressor. SOLUTION: Since this compressor is provided with a tilting cylinder 35, a centrifugal piston 36 reciprocably stored in this cylinder 35, a movable pipe 37 reciprocably stored in an oil feed passage 29, and a connecting mechanism 38 connecting the centrifugal piston 36 and the movable pipe 37 together, an amount of oiling into a thrust sliding part is increased and any lubricating failure is prevented from occurring in a transient state until a crankshaft is stabilized by constant rotation in time of compressor starting, and thus this enclosed compressor being less in wear and high in reliability is securable.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of fatigue failure and to improve reliability by reducing stress generated near a fixed end of an arm of an elastic body in a vibration type compressor used for a refrigeration cycle, etc. SOLUTION: A part of the elastic body 8 is fixed to a fixed element 12 and a part of the elastic body 8 is fixed to a movable element 9 through fixing member 20a, 20b, 20c and 20d having curved surfaces 21a, 21b, 21c and 21d. The fixed end is deformed along the curved surface of the fixing members at deformation of the arm, and partial stress concentration can be avoided. Thus, the occurrence of the fatigue failure can be prevented and the reliable vibration type compressor can be achieved.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillating type compressor used in a refrigerating system or the like, which can prevent the insufficiency of cooling capacity in a high temperature atmosphere. SOLUTION: As oscillating compressor is composed of a cylinder 22 in which a piston is inserted so as to be axially reciprocatable, and which is inserted in a back 20 so as to be axially reciprocatable and to define a space 23 between itself and the block 20, and a communication passage 24 which is opened between the space 23 and a discharge chamber 7b in a cylinder head 7. With this arrangement, in a condition in which the atmospheric temperature is high so as to require a high cooling capacity, the cylinder 22 is moved toward the top dead center by a high pressure introduced in the space 23 so that the stroke of the piston 5 becomes larger, thereby making it possible to enhance the cooling capacity.

SOLUTION: By providing a cover 25 and a pressure regulating valve 27, when a piston 7 makes a reciprocating motion in a closed space 26 in the cover 25, by the pressure regulating valve 27, a pressure in the cover can be held lower than a pressure outside the cover 25, a level of lubricating oil 24 in the cover 25 can be heightened. Accordingly, centrifugal oil supply of a supply oil pipe, splash oil supply and cooling of a slide part can be always performed, wearing due to improper lubrication of the slide part is prevented, a high reliable closed compressor can be obtained.
