    Abstract: PURPOSE: To enhance productivity by starting a compressor for a predetermined time when the inner pressure is reduced through a pressure reducing pipe provided at one position on the high pressure side and supplying the air from the pressure reduced side to the high pressure side thereby shortening the evacuation time. CONSTITUTION: When a vacuum pump 13 is started to evacuate the high pressure 26 side through a pressure reducing pipe 9, the inner pressure reaches 10 Torr or thereabout about 30 sec later. When an RC 2 is started by supplying power through plug-in 33, the air is fed forcibly from the low pressure side 27 to the high pressure side 26. When the RC 2 is stopped about 18 sec later and pressure reduction is continued further for 15 sec, a pressure of 2 Torr is achieved on the high pressure side 26. Inner pressure on the low pressure side 27 increases to 1.8 Torr because the pressure in a cooling system 1 is balanced after stopping the RC 2 but equilibrium is sustained subsequently. More specifically, when the RC 2 is operated during pressure reduction on the high pressure side 26, evacuation time is shortened and one more pressure reduction pipe can be eliminated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent gas from entering into a capillary tube by providing an outlet and an inlet of a dryer at a location lower than the center of the cross section of the dryer. CONSTITUTION:A capillary tube 5 is directly connected to a dryer 4. An outlet 13 of the dryer 4 is connected by welding to the capillary tube 5. The connected part is located under the center line 14 of the cross section of the dryer 4. An inlet tip 15 of the capillary tube 5 connected to the outlet 13 of the dryer 4 is previously bent by means of restitutive force inherent to copper, and so the inlet tip 15 is positioned under the center line 14 of the cross section of the dryer 4. Thus, gas is prevented from flowing into the capillary tube 5.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To keep inner degree of vacuum and improve heat insulation properties by constituting the body of an outer plate, an inner plate and an open-cell foam with gas permeability, and laminating the inner plate with a plastic film on which a metal is deposited or a metal foil is laminated. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulating body 8 is prepd. by filling a gas permeable open-cell foam body 5 in a space formed with an outer plate 2 and an inner plate 12 wherein a thermoplastic film 11 such as polyethylene resin wherein a plastic 9 such as ABS resin is laminated with a metal foil 10 is laminated with an adhesive etc., and making the inside vacuum. In this case, a space formed with the outer plate 2 is filled with the gas permeable open-cell foam body 5 without gap and the inner plate 12 is placed so as to overlap on the outer plate 2 and the inside is made vacuum and an overlapped part is heat- sealed to keep the inner degree of vacuum. Heat insulation properties are improved by using the inner plate 12 with gas barrier properties like this. In addition, as there is no space between the outer plate 2 and the gas permeable open-cell foam 5, there is no possibility that appearance of the outer plate is changed.
