Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the accuracy and the convenience of such a measuring apparatus that quantitatively evaluates a contaminant dissolved in a refrigerator oil. SOLUTION: The inside of a system is vacuum-evacuated, a refrigerator oil, in which a contaminant is dissolved, is then poured into a sample container 11, and a refrigerant is poured into the sample container 11 while it is being pressurized or cooled. Then, a valve 15 and a valve 16 are opened, and the sample container 11, a filter holder 12 and a collection container 13 are connected directly. Then, when the collection container 13 is cooled by a cooling device 14, a mixed solution of the refrigerator oil and the refrigerant is passed through a filter inside the filter holder 12 so as to be collected in the collection container 13. On the basis of a change in the weight of the filter holder 12 or the filter held inside the filter holder 12 before and after a test, a contaminant which is precipitated in the mixed solution of the refrigerator oil and the refrigerant can be evaluated quantitatively.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm whether or not air is mixed into a freezing system owing to gas leakage from a low pressure side piping and correctly judge whether or not the cause of a trouble is due to low pressure gas leakage by disposing low pressure gas leakage detection means on the freezing system. SOLUTION: A refrigerant is compressed by a compressor 1 and is sent to a condenser 2 through a refrigerant piping 5 where it releases heat into a liquefied one which is in turn fed to an expansion-mechanism 3 through the refrigerant piping 5. The refrigerant is reduced in pressure in the expansion mechanism 3 and is fed to an evaporator 4 through the refrigerant piping 5 where it is cooled by being vaporized, and then it is returned to the compressor 1 through the refrigerant piping 5. Herein, a temperature sensor 6 being low pressure gas leakage detection means is disposed on the high pressure side of the refrigerant piping 5. When a great volume of air is mixed into a freezing system, temperature measured by the temperature sensor 6 greatly exceeds temperature indicated by ordinary working environment conditions of the refrigerant system so that it is confirmed that the great volume of air is mixed in.

CONSTITUTION:A vane 5 adapts alloy steel containing chrome or iron group sintered material as a base material 5a, and a diffusion layer 5b of nitrogen is provided and precisely finished, and then a compound layer 5c made of iron, chrome and nitrogen is formed on the front surface, moreover a ceramic coating 5d made of chrome nitride, titanium nitride or titanium carbide is formed on the tip. And, the boundary part of the tip and the side surface to slidably moved together with a groove of the cylinder is eliminated by polishing a protruding part 5e near the side surface of the coating 5d.

CONSTITUTION:A scroll type compressor comprises a revolving scroll and a fixed scroll which have a spiral lap standing-upright on an end plate and are geared with each other; a block fixing the fixed scroll; and an Oldham's ring 1 being a rotation preventing mechanism to effect revolving movement through prevention of rotation of the revolving scroll. The Oldham's ring 1 has an aluminum alloy cast 1c in which preform 1b of ceramic fibers is cast.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To restrain deteriorating reaction of oil and deposition of organic acid chloride or the like by impregnating pores in a sintered slide member for a compressor, which is made of iron group sintered materials, with low melting point alloy such as lead/antimony group alloy or the like, so as to use 1, 1, 1, 2 tetrafluoroethane as gas to be compressed, in order to reduce abrasion of a slide part in the case of using ester group oil or group oil as lubrication oil. CONSTITUTION:An iron group sintered material having a theoretical density ratio of 0.8 to 0.95 and a Rockwell C scale hardness of 10 to 45 is impregnated in its pores with alloy 4 of 450 to 550K so as to form a slide member 1 for a compressor. Further, as the metal 4 with which the pores are impregnated, 3 to 1.5wt.% of at least one kind selected from a group consisting of selenium, bismuth, lead and antimony is used. The slide member 1 is sued for a roller attached to an eccentric part of a shaft of a compressor in which gas to be compressed, composed of 1, 1, 1, 2 tetrafluorethane is used. When extreme slide motion occurs accompanying with abrasion, on a slide surface, the low melting point alloy 4 is melted so as to restrain the temperature of the slide surface 2 from increasing.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the corrosion resistance of a roller material of compressor at a low cost and improve the durability of the compressor by preparing a work for roller from a seamless, long stretching steel pipe, cutting it into lengths, subjecting to a heat treatment and machining, and thus fabricating a roller. CONSTITUTION:A rotary compressor 1 uses a compressive gas as refrigerant 1, 1, 1. 2 tetrafluoroethane and is composed of a shaft 2, roller piston 6 mounted to the eccentric part of the shaft 2, cylinder 4 accommodating the roller piston 6, and vane 5 which is accommodated in a groove provided in the cylinder 4 and whose foremost is to be in slide contact with the periphery of the-roller piston 6. A seamless, long stretching steel pipe is used as a work 6a, cut into lengths as specified, and subjected to heat treatment and machining incl. grinding, and thus roller piston 6 is fabricated. Thereby the durability of the roller can be enhanced with no more man-hours for processing than according to conventional techniques, and also the durability of the resultant rotary compressor even using R134a having infeior lubricating performance be improved at a low cost.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve abrasive state in the sliding part of a shaft and a bearing even if in such a severe condition as using the refrigerant 1,1,1,2 tetrafluoroethane, by applying polyimide containing MoS2 or polyamideimide resin on a shaft surface as coating. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 14 and a main bearing 8, a sub bearing 9 are formed of cast iron in a compressor 1. Polyimide containing 1-50weight% of MoS2 or polyamideimide resin is applied with thickness of 1-30mum on the entire surface of the shaft 14 as coating. Thus, a decrease in the abrasion amount can be attempted because MoS2, solid body lubricant, elevates the initial adaptability of the sliding parts between the shaft 14 and the bearings 8, 9.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the friction of the contact area of a connecting rod and a piston pin, and improve the durability thereof by forming a boronized iron layer on the surface of the piston pin in a compressor using a refrigerant 1,1,1,2- tetrafluoroethane as compressed gas. CONSTITUTION:A connecting rod 5 is formed with a lightweight material of die-cast aluminum (JIS ADC12) and a piston pin 10 is formed with molybdenum steel (JIS SCM435) as a base material. This piston pin 10 is subjected to boronizing treatment with a solid method, using a processing fluid at approximately 800 to 900 deg.C, thereby forming a boronized iron layer of about 50mum thickness on the surface of the piston pin 10. Furthermore, the surface is polished by approximately 15mum for finishing to dimensional accuracy. The boronized iron layer of the piston pin 10 has not only high hardness of approximately 1500 to 2000Hv, but also self-lubricating quality, ensuring freedom from seizure even in a dry and frictional condition. Consequently, the contact area of the connecting rod 5 and piston pin 10 displays excellent durability under exposure to the aforesaid 1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane inferior in lubrication performance.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the abrasion resistance by impregnation and hardening aluminum base material including silicone into a perform of alumina fibers mixed with graphite under pressure to obtain a member of composite fiber reinforced metal. CONSTITUTION:A rotary compressor 1 is composed of a shaft 2 of cast iron, a cylinder 4 of cast iron, and a roller 6 and a vane 7 to rotate and slide between them. A preform is formed of alpha-type alumina short fibers of an average diameter of 3mum and an aspect ratio of 100-2000 mixed with 5wt.% scale-like graphite of a grain size of 1-6mum. Molten metal of Al alloy including 17wt.% Si, 4.5wt.% Cu and 0.6wt.% Mg is impregnated and hardened into this preform under a pressure of 1000kg/cm to be billets, from which the roller 6 and the vane 7 are formed by cutting by cutting work. The weight of a compressor member is thus reduced, and the abrasion resistance is improved.
