Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a state of uncertainty that an ice detection signal is generated or not generated according to the excess or deficiency of ice in a process of returning an ice making tray after release of the ice, without controlling an ice detecting lever, and further to simplify a structure. SOLUTION: Construction is so made that a switch 119 is made to output an Hi signal continuously by a first switch operating means during the time when an ice making tray is at -20 deg. to +30 deg. to the position of the origin as a reference at the time when ice in a prescribed quantity or more is present in an ice storage box and that the switch 119 is made to output the Hi signal continuously by first and second switch operating means during the time when the ice making tray is at -20 deg. to +84 deg. at the time when the ice in the prescribed quantity or more is not present in the ice storage box. By this construction, a switch signal is inverted by the same number of times invariably irrespective of excess or deficiency of the ice in a process wherein the ice making tray returns, without controlling an ice detecting lever. By using as a reference the position where the signal is inverted, therefore, the position of the origin can be detected without fail.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the improvement of article storage efficiency and the improvement of workability in an article ejection device of an automatic motor- driven vending machine. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the geared motor which is composed of a cylinder 19 rotating with an output shaft 18 transmitting rotational force to the outside and performing the reciprocating movement in an axial direction by making the output shaft 18 as a guide bar and first switch means 25 to 27 operating by the horizontal plate 19c springing out in the perpendicular direction the center axis from the outer periphery of the cylinder 19. Further, when a second switch means 33 is arranged in the interior of the geared motor, operation members 31 (31a, 31b) operating a second switch means 33 are projected to the side of an article storage shelf, articles are stored in the article storage shelf and the articles are arranged, the operation member 31 are moved into the geared motor 10 and the second switch means 33 is made to be operated. Thus, the place, labor and time for installing the switch means at the outside of the geared motor is unnecessitated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a feed water pump, used for a refrigerator with an automatic ice making machine, at a low cost with high reliability, minimizing the decrease of feed water quantity caused by a bearing hole and preventing the splash of water flowing out of a drip hole. CONSTITUTION:A pump 31 is formed of a case 37 having a vortex chamber and holding a motor 32 on the axis of the vortex chamber, and an impeller 33 rotatably provided in the vortex chamber. The top face side of the vortex chamber 34 is provided with a small hole 51 communicated with the outside, and a U-shape extended part 52 is provided on the approximately vertical line of the small hole 51. The cylindrical opening of the case 37 is airtightely held by the motor 32 so that air does not leak outside from the vortex chamber 34.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of the title device and permit the control of many chambers by a method wherein a plurality of outlet ports, communicated with the inlet ports of cold air of a housing, is opened and closed by the combination of a cylindrical flap and a rotor rotated by single driving cource. CONSTITUTION:When a signal is inputted from a control circuit, a motor 18 is turned and the rotation is transmitted to a rotor 23 through a reduction gear box 19 whereby the rotor 23 is rotated in the annular recess 12 of a housing 10. In this case, the tip end of the blades 23a of the rotor 23 is contacted with the inside of an annular flap 20 and the flap 20 is moved to a position, determined by the length of the blade 23a of the rotor 23. When only the temperature of the second chamber is increased and the same of a first chamber is low, the motor 18 is electrified for a given period of time so that the rotor 23 is rotated by 90 deg. by an external control circuit whereby an outlet port 17a is closed by the flap 20. According to this operation, cold air flows into a second chamber from an inlet port 16 through another outlet port 17b.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable reliable opening and closing of an opening part without detecting opening and closing of a flap by means of an electric means by a method wherein the opening of a housing mounted between cold air inlet and outlet parts is opened and closed by means of the blades of a rotary rotor, and transmission between a rotor drive output shaft and the rotor is effected by means of a frictional force therebetween. CONSTITUTION:A drive signal is inputted to a motor 30, and rotation of the motor 30 is transmitted through a reduction gear 32 to a final output shaft 34. In this case, since the rotation is transmitted between a protrusion part 34b made of rubber of the final output shaft 34 and a recessed part 36e of a rotor 36 by means of a frictional force therebetween, the rotor 36 is rotated in a direction in such a way that opening parts 25a and 25b are closed. In this case, when blade parts 36b and 36c of the rotor 36 make contact with the opening parts 25a and 25b, the rotor 36 is not rotated by the motor 30 and the final output shaft 34 are rotated in a slipping state in the recessed part 36e of the rotor 36. An opening part 25 is opened and closed by means of the blade parts of the rotor 36 without using an electric switch and the output time of a drive signal is set to a value slightly longer than a time required for opening and closing of the opening part 25, whereby the rotor 36 is reliably held in an opening and closing positions, and since an output shaft is raced, the motor is prevented from a damage.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a stroke of a push-pin small and shorten the overall depth size of a switch to be preferable for a refrigerator, etc., by causing the longitudinal direction of a snap-switch constituting a switch and the sliding direction of the push-pin to make a right angle. CONSTITUTION:The terminals 43 having a contact part, and a terminal 45 holding a nearly rectangular snap-switch 44 are provided on a resin base 42 constructing a rectangular switch part 41. The switch part 41 is received on the projecting surface 28 of a second recess 25 of a switch-case 21 so that the longitudinal direction of the switch part 41 and the sliding direction of a push-pin 31 make a right angle. Further, a contact part 39 of a lever 36 and the switch 44 are positioned so that they are brought in contact or separated by the rotation of the lever 36, and a resin cover 46 is mounted to the case 21 through snap-fitting. Thus, when the pin 31 is projected, the lever 36 is rotated by a torsion spring 40 so that the contact between the switch 44 and the contact part 39 of the lever 36 is separated to bring the switch in the returned state.
