    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve shielding effect by coating a large number of arranged hollow opposing wall surfaces produced by combining plates of improved conductivity in grid shape with a required material. CONSTITUTION:Opposing wall surfaces of cavities 2 of a structured body 4 which is formed by a number of arranged cavities 2 which are produced by combining a metal plate 1 of improved conductivity in grid shape are coated with a sheet 3 made of a material of high permeability. Therefore, by reducing an opening area and increasing depth, shielding effect can be enhanced without extending the length of a waveguide path, thus further enhancing the shielding effect with the same opening area and depth.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an electromagnetic absorber excellent in resistance to breakage and deformation by a method wherein the edges and the top of a pyramid- shaped molded piece, which are easy to be deformed and broken, are substituted with a structural component formed of high molecular resin such as rubber, plastic, or the like as a main component. CONSTITUTION:A pyramid-shaped molded piece 1 containing electrical loss material is provided, where four edges and the top of the pyramid are substituted with structural components 2 and 3 formed of high molecular resin such as rubber, plastic, or the like. Then, an electromagnetic wave absorber composed of the molded pieces 1 as a main body is prevented from being deformed and broken. By these processes, an electromagnetic wave absorber hard to deform and break can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the measuring time error of a measuring instrument by providing a timer section and an output section being a measuring timing means and outputting a reset signal of the measuring instrument given to the measuring instrument at the same period. CONSTITUTION:A reset signal of the measuring instrument is outputted through an output section 4 to a measuring instrument 2 at a time 00 min 07 sec for each hour retarded by a preset time based on a time signal for each hour from the time of a timer section 7. The measuring data to be reset is given always to an input section 3 and sent to a central station by the polling from a central station for, e.g., each hour via a transmission reception control section 5 and a modulator-demodulator section 6 and via a line. The polling is implemented at 00 min 30sec for each hour according to a call signal from the central station and an observing station sends th measuring data to a transmission station. Moreover, the central station adds a time synchronizing signal to only the call signal at, e.g., 00min 30sec for each hour to apply polling to the observing stations. The time synchronizing signal is outputted to the timer section 7 from the transmission reception control section 5 and then the time of the observing stations is synchronized with the time of the central station in terms of year/month/day/hour/minute/second.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the simple and high-speed estimation of the possibility of occurrence of glitch caused by a fine shift of the timing of signals in a logic circuit, by a method wherein input signals at two consecutive times in the logic circuit are computed by a bit and compared with each other. CONSTITUTION:A storage means M1 stores the content of each bit of an input signal at a time preceding to the present in a logic circuit, while a storage means M2 stores the content of each bit of an input signal at the present time in the logic circuit. An arithmetic means M3 executes computations of the content of each bit outputted from the storage means M1 and the content of each bit outputted from the storage means M2 corresponding to the function of the logic circuit. In other words, the arithmetic means M3 executes a computation of taking a logical sum for each bit and others. A comparing means M4 compares, by each bit, a bit string X0 being the result of computation by the arithmetic means M3 with a bit string Xs prepared beforehand corresponding to the function of the logic circuit, and when these strings coincide with each other, it outputs a signal G showing that there is a possibility of occurrence of glitch.
