Abstract: An electro-magnetic wave absorbing member comprises a mixture of short fibers (2) of metal or alloy having a high electro-conductivity, a length of 0.1 mm to 50 mm and a length to diameter ratio larger than 10, ferrite and a high molecular weight synthetic resin. In a modification a sheet of this material is used as a low input impedance layer (13) and laminated with an electro-conductive sheet (12) and an impedance conversion layer (14). The member according to this invention can increase electrical loss contributing to the absorption of electro- magnetive waves, can stably control the absorption and can be used in many applications.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the filter characteristic more excellent by providing a radio wave absorber for reduction of disturbance of the electromagnetic field mode and the occurrence of the higher-order mode on the inside wall of the case of a filter to reduce the occurrence of noise due to the disturbance of the resonance mode. CONSTITUTION:A case 8 is made of brass which has the surface plated with gold about 5mum thick. A radio wave absorber 9 is provided on the surface of the inside wall of this case 8. A ferrite having a large magnetic loss is used as this radio wave absorber 9. With respect to this ferrite, an imaginary part of the high frequency permeability is large, and a magnetite, a nickel ferrite, a lithium ferrite, a copper ferrite, a barium ferrite, or the like can be used in the GHz area. In this case, pasted fine particles of a magnetite are printed on the surface of the inside wall of the case 8 with about 100mum thickness to obtain the radio wave absorber.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To adjust and confirm the resonance characteristic or the like of the circuit element with high performance utilizing a specific property of superconduction at a temperature lower than the critical temperature even at room temperature by providing a conductor pattern of a duplicate film comprising a thin film of a superconducting material and a thin film made of a metallic material superposed thereon to the element. CONSTITUTION:A strip pattern 1 forming a center conductor with a superposed structure of a superconducting thin film made of a high temperature superconducting material and a metallic thin film 12, is formed on a substrate 2 by vapor deposition. Then a connector 7 being an input output terminal is connected to the pattern, a fixed body 4 is formed on an upper side made of a dielectric material of a low loss, a packing body 5 is formed to the left/right and a sheet 6 is arranged to the lower side and they are stored in a shield case 3 used in common for earthing. Thus, it is possible to confirm the characteristic of the microstrip line circuit element comprising the strip pattern 1, the substrate 2 and the shield case 3 even at room temperature over the critical transmitter.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the small-sized micro strip line resonator which has a very high no-load Q value and a high performance by using an oxide superconductor for the micro strip line resonator as a basic element of a microwave circuit. CONSTITUTION:When an oxide superconductor and a dielectric are used to form the micro strip line resonator, the oxide superconductor is used as constituting materials of a strip line resonator 1, input/output strip lines 4 and 5, and a grounding conductor 3, and the oxide superconductor is used as constituting materials of a shield 8 of the micro strip line resonator also. Therefore, the conductor loss of the strip line resonator 1 and the grounding conductor 3 and the loss in the shield are reduced, and consequently, a very high no-load Q value is obtained.
