Abstract:
The invention concerns a unit (1000) for controlling transmission of power to a thermal conditioning device (100) e.g. for coffee machine, comprising a controller (2) with a start-up profile for starting-up said device (100) from a temperature of inactivity (TI) to an operative temperature for bringing to a target temperature (TT) a fluid circulating through said device (100) at start-up end, said controller (2) being arranged to allow circulation of fluid through said device (100) at start-up end and to compare the determined temperature (SOT) of fluid circulated at start-up end to the target temperature (TT) and derive a temperature difference therefrom. It is characterized in that the start-up profile has at least one parameter and in that said controller (2) has a self-learning mode for adjusting said parameter as a function of said temperature difference and to store the adjusted parameter for a subsequent starting-up of said device (100). The invention concerns in particular a method for optimized heating up of a coffee machine (104).

Abstract:
The invention concerns a beverage machine comprising a casing (32) enclosing: a first part (34) for receiving an ingredient capsule therein, a second part (70) having a surface (91) provided with perforating projecting members (90) facing the first part, an opening (76) in the casing enabling the capsule to be inserted in a direction of insertion (Z) between the first and second parts, the first and second parts being movable relative to each other along a longitudinal axis (X) perpendicular to surface (91) between a first position in which first and second parts are spaced apart so that the ingredient capsule is inserted therebetween and a second position in which first and second parts are close to each other so that the capsule is in contact with the member. The members (90) are provided in an arrangement on the surface with respect to the opening (76) so as to permanently reduce the risk of trapping of the capsule by the members during the capsule insertion.
Abstract:
The present invention proposes a beverage preparation device (100) having a water circulation system (500) that comprises: a water source (118) with an outlet (202), a pump (104) with a support member (304) for holding and securing the pump (104) in said device (100), and an integral water conduit (302) with an inlet (102) and an outlet (303) for guiding water from the water source (118) to the pump (104), said conduit outlet (303) being connected to the pump (104), wherein said water source outlet (202) is connected to said water conduit inlet (102) via an annular sealing member (204) that forms an integral protruding portion of the conduit inlet (102) or the source outlet (202); wherein said pump support (304) is integral with the water conduit (302), in particular with the conduit outlet (303).
Abstract:
A device (1) for preparing a beverage from a capsule containing an ingredient of the beverage, has: a housing (1a, 1b) with a cavity (1c) to which used capsules (5) are evacuated; and a collection receptacle (10) in the cavity of the housing. The receptacle has an opening (10a) for receiving the evacuated used capsules and collecting the capsules. The receptacle has a reception orientation (10') in which the receptacle is arranged to be filled with capsules up to a maximum level of fill in the cavity which extends above the opening of the receptacle in the reception orientation of the receptacle. The receptacle being tiltable or pivotable in the cavity into a removal orientation (10'') for allowing removal of the collection receptacle filled with capsules from the cavity.
