    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an elastic plate from being stained and damaged by a method wherein fixing and releasing from the fixing of a thin film forming elastic plate to the plate cylinder of a printing roll having two specially structural chuck means are made automatically possible by providing two plate holders having specified structure are provided onto the thin film forming elastic plate. CONSTITUTION:A first plate holder 2, on which first chuck holes of a printing roll are provided, and a second plate holder 3, on which second chuck holes having tapered surface of the printing roll, are mounted to a thin film forming elastic plate 1. Further, a first chuck means 12 consisting of a first chuck member 25 having claw parts and a first driving part 26, by which the claw part of the member 25 is engaged with the opening edge part of the first chuck hole of the printing roll of the elastic plate 1, and a second chuck means 13 consisting of a second chuck member 15, which has claw parts having the tapered surfaces tallying with the tapered surfaces of the second chuck holes of the printing roll of the second plate holder 3 of the elastic plate 1 and a second driving part 16 for shifting the member 15, are provided on the plate cylinder C of the printing roll.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure that a smooth, highly accurate film with good edge linearity is formed on a material to be printed by transferring a smooth, uniform ink film by moving an intaglio plate over a specified distance and transferring ink again to the surface of the material from the intaglio plate through a printing roll after replacement of the material. CONSTITUTION:Ink filled in a flat or roll-shaped intaglio plate with a regularly patterned protruding and recessed parts formed in an obliquely-lined or lattice-like design on the surface, is transferred to the surface of a material to be printed on through a printing roll with protruding parts. Next, the intaglio plate is displaced over a distance which satisfies formula (y) in a printing direction, and/or formula (x) in a direction at right angles which the printing direction. After this, the ink is transferred again to the surface of the material from the intaglio plate through the printing roll after replacement of the material, then the intaglio plate is returned to its original position and the ink is transferred to a new material via the roll. In the formula, (x), (y) are a displacement, (p) is the pitch of the bank of the intaglio plate, (n) is the number of displacement pitches of protruding and recessed parts of the intaglio plate expressed by an integer, and theta is an angle formed by the rotating shaft direction of the printing roll and obliquely-lined or lattice-like protruding and recessed parts on the surface of the intaglio plate.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify an adjustment operation for registration by providing optical sensors which detect that a stage loaded with a jig has reached to a position where through holes of the jig are overlapped with register marks by moving relatively to a plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Right below a plate cylinder 1, optical sensors 16 are disposed. When a plate 2 is replaced, the plate 2 is wound around the plate cylinder 1 so that edges 31, 32 of the plats 2 are abutted along reference pins 41, 42, 43. After that, movable pins 131, 132, 133 of a stage 12 are made movable, a jig 9 is loaded on a board surface, and the stage 12 is slidingly moved, whereby the plate cylinder 1 is synchronously rotated. When register marks 111, 112, 113 have reached right above the optical sensors 16, the jig 9 is traveled on the board surface to a position where the respective register marks are allowed to be seen through the optical sensors 16, the movable pins 131, 132, 131 are securely abutted against edges 101, 102 of the jig 9, and the jig 9 is detached from the board surface. Therefore, by one registering operation, a registration of printing pattern can be performed between the plate and a body to be printed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable delivery of a work without damage, according to a method wherein a push-up support member, moving in and out from a convey position surface, is forced into contact with the back of a work to support the work, and a push-up member is vertically moved in and out from the convey position surface. CONSTITUTION:A roller 12a is moved to a spot above a support plate 2, and a push-up pin 3a is retracted in the support plate 2. The roller 12a is rotated, an incoming conveyor mechanism 5A is actuated, and a work 1 placed on a conveyor belt 8 is conveyed in the direction of an arrow mark X. The work 1 is transferred to the roller 12a for conveyance, and is brought into collision with a stopper 10a of a stop mechanism for a stop to stop the rotation of the roller 12a. Simultaneously, the push-up pin 3a is raised for protrusion to float the work from the roller 12a. Thereafter, with the pin 3a lowered, the work 1 is placed on the roller 12a, and the stopper 10a is retracted to transfer the work 1 to an outgoing conveyor mechanisms 5B through rotation of the roller 12a for outgoing conveyance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the registration of a pattern by detecting a registration mark with the irradiation of ultraviolet rays on the mark which was printed using a transparent ink containing fluorescent white intersifier while the position thereof with a registration mark on other plates is checked. CONSTITUTION:A registration mark is printed on at least one plate using a transparent ink containing a trace of a fluorescent white intensifier. Ultra-violet rays are irradiated on the registration mark printed in the transparent ink so that a luminescence is emitted to detect the registration mark. The position of the registration mark with another registration mark printed on other plate is checked to match the marks of a pattern. It is preferable that the fluorescent white intensifier is contained in the transparent ink comprising a resin, a solvent and the like at a rate of 0.1-several %.
