    Abstract: A LED light source includes a longitudinally extending first light guide, a housing, and a cartridge. The first light guide has a longitudinally extending light emitting face. The light emitting face has a first end face and a longitudinally spaced apart second end face. The housing has a first side proximate the first end face of the first light guide. The cartridge is mountable to the first side of the housing and has at least one LED on a first face of the cartridge. The first face extends generally transverse to the first light guide when the cartridge has been mounted to the housing. When the cartridge is mounted to the first side of the housing, the first face of the cartridge is adjacent the first end face. A LED light bulb is also disclosed.

    Abstract: An extruder has a barrel extending from a feed inlet end to an extruder outlet end. The barrel has an inner surface, an outer surface, and a wall thickness between the inner and outer surfaces. The extruder also has at least one heating member positioned provided on the barrel; a screw drive motor drivingly connected to a rotatably mounted screw positioned within the barrel, whereby the screw is rotatable at various revolutions per minute (RPM); and a controller is operably connected to the screw drive motor to adjust the RPM of the screw based upon a temperature of material passing through and/or being extruded from the barrel. Methods for operating an extruder filling a mold are also provided.

    Abstract: A surface cleaning apparatus is disclosed having an upper portion mounted to a surface cleaning head, a portable surface cleaning unit mounted to the upper portion, an above floor cleaning wand removably receivable in the upper portion, and a wand lock having a locked position in which the wand is secured to the upper portion and an unlocked position in which the wand is removable from the upper portion. The upper portion may stabilize the wand when the wand is drivingly connected to the cleaning head. An electrified flexible air flow conduit may electrically connect the surface cleaning head to the cleaning unit.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to surface cleaning apparatus comprising a portable surface cleaning apparatus, such as a hand vacuum cleaner or a pod. One of the problems addressed in the disclosure is increasing the dirt carrying capacity of a hand carriable vacuum cleaner. Described is a hand carriable surface cleaning apparatus having a front end, a rear end, a top and a bottom. The apparatus comprises a dirty fluid inlet provided at the front end, and a cyclone downstream of the dirty fluid inlet that comprises a lower end, an upper end positioned above the lower end when the bottom is resting on a horizontal surface, an air inlet, and an air outlet at the upper end. The apparatus comprises a pre-motor filter positioned in a pre-motor filter housing having an openable cover. The pre-motor filter comprises an upstream side and a downstream side, and is positioned above and overlies at least a portion of the upper end of the cyclone when the bottom is resting on a horizontal surface. The pre-motor filter is downstream of the cyclone. The cover is openable without moving the pre-motor filter. The hand carriable surface cleaning apparatus also comprises an upstream header on the upstream side of the pre-motor filter, and opening the cover opens the upstream header and reveals the upstream side of the pre-motor filter. The apparatus comprises a handle positioned rearward of the openable cover. The apparatus further comprises a suction motor positioned downstream of the pre-motor filter and rearward of the cyclone, an air flow path extending from the pre-motor filter to the suction motor, and a clean air outlet downstream of the suction motor.
