    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a transmit diversity configuration for transmitting multiple sidelink messages. The UE may identify a transmit diversity configuration that indicates a set of component carriers (CCs) available for sidelink communication. The UE may transmit, based on the transmit diversity configuration, a first sidelink message having a first redundancy version (RV) of a transport block (TB), and a second sidelink message having a second RV of the TB, on multiple CCs. In a second case, the UE may identify a transmit diversity configuration indicating a set of precoding matrices. The UE may transmit the first sidelink message, including a TB or an RV of a TB, precoded using a first precoding matrix and a second sidelink message, including a TB or an RV of a TB, precoded using a second precoding matrix on multiple CCs.

    Abstract: Aspects for reducing interference for transmissions in unlicensed frequency bands are disclosed. An apparatus, e.g., a user equipment (UE) with information to transmit, identifies before transmitting the information in an unlicensed frequency spectrum, a specified duration of a listen-before-talk (LBT) operation in that spectrum. Based on the specified duration, the UE reduces a transmission time duration of a slot of the UE to increase a time duration of a remainder of the slot sufficient to prevent, or decrease the likelihood of, a transmission by the UE in the slot from interfering with an LBT operation by another UE.

    Abstract: A first UE may configure, during a COT, an initial transmission and one or more subsequent transmissions that follow the initial transmission. The one or more subsequent transmissions are configured to prevent a release of the COT. Based on the configuration, the first UE may transmit the initial transmission including an indication of the COT and a time period for transmitting the one or more subsequent transmissions. The first UE may subsequently transmit the one or more subsequent transmissions during the indicated time period. A second UE may receive the indication of the COT and the time period where the release of the COT is prevented. The second UE may prepare a packet for transmission during the time period where the release of the COT is prevented and transmit the packet during the COT following the time period where the release of the COT is prevented.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) communicates on a shared channel using sidelink transmissions. The UE determines a channel access priority for the sidelink transmission based on a channel access priority for the UE, a channel access priority associated with a packet priority of the sidelink transmission, a congestion level for the channel, or a remaining time in a packet delay budget of the sidelink transmission. The UE performs a channel access procedure based on the channel access priority for the sidelink transmission to assess that the channel is clear prior to transmitting the sidelink transmission, and transmits the sidelink transmission on the channel.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sidelink communications in an unlicensed spectrum. A method that may be performed by a first user equipment (UE) of a plurality of UEs includes sensing a frequency band to determine whether the frequency band is idle, the sensing occurring prior to a first time period. In some examples, the method may include transmitting, by the first UE, one or more signals over the frequency band during the first time period based on determining that the frequency band is idle, the one or more signals indicating that the frequency band is reserved for wireless communication between the plurality of UEs during the first time period.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE) may reserve one or more time frequency resources in an unlicensed frequency spectrum band for one or more sidelink transmissions. The UE may reserve the time frequency resources through a sidelink message transmitted in a first slot of a shared channel occupancy (CO). The UE may monitor a subset of slots before the reserved time frequency resources for sidelink transmissions from other UEs sharing the CO. The monitoring of the subset of slots may include decoding control messages or control information in each of the subset of slots, a reference signal received power (RSRP) measurement of sidelink transmissions in the subset of slots, channel sensing with energy detection in a sensing window, or a combination thereof. The UE may communicate in the reserved slot based on the monitoring.

A communication device may generate a radar signal including a set of waveforms (e.g., chirps) based at least in part on a waveform configuration of the communication device. Each respective waveform of the set of waveforms may be associated with at least one parameter of a set of parameters. A value of the at least one parameter may be different for each respective waveform of the set of waveforms (e.g., each chirp of a set of chirps).     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Each user equipment (UE) in a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) system may select a hopping pattern for transmitting a set of radar signals. A victim UE may experience interference from an interfering UE. The victim UE may receive a set of radar signals in a set of transmission frames from the interfering UE. The victim UE may detect a hopping pattern from the set of radar signals based on receiving the set of radar signals in the set of transmission frames. The victim UE may transmit a sidelink message to an interfering UE for interference coordination based on detecting the hopping pattern.
