    Abstract: An initial product adaptable to form a garment such as a diaper, training pant, pull-up diaper, adult incontinence pant and diaper holder. The initial product includes a chassis for receiving the absorbent structure. The chassis includes a first lateral margin and a second lateral margin. The first and second lateral margins are joined to a central structure along a first line of joinder and a second line of joinder, respectively, the first and second lines of joinder extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis. The first and second lateral margins have a first end region, a second end region and a central region. The first and second lateral margins have a material which is elastically extensible in at least the longitudinal direction in the central region. Lateral edges of the lateral margins are provided by third and fourth strips of substantially inelastic material.

    Abstract: Articulo absorbente que comprende una capa de transferencia de liquido (5) colocada entre un revestimiento del lado de cuerpo permeable al liquido (6) y un nucleo absorbente (2). El revestimiento (6 comprende una pluralidad de perforaciones (7). El revestimiento y la capa de transferencia estan unidos en una pluralidad de sitios de union (11) que cubren un area de entre 0.5% y 11 % del area del revestimiento (6) que esta circunscrita por los sitios de union y en donde cada sitio de enlace tiene un area de no mas de 13 mm2. El revestimiento perforado (6) y la capa de transferencia (5) combinados proporcionan una entrada rapida de liquido y una baja rehumectacion contra el usuario. El revestimiento (6) tiene una estructura tri-dimensional de regiones elevadas y rebajadas alternadas y las perforaciones (7) estan presentes en las partes inferiores de los rebajos (8) de dicho revestimiento como se ven a partir del lado que confronta al cuerpo del revestimiento.
