    Abstract: The invention relates to a fragrance means for an absorbent article such as a sanitary towel, a panty liner, a diaper or an incontinence pad. The fragrance means comprises an activatable fragrance arranged on a carrier, by virtue of which the fragrance means has an active, fragrant state and an inactive, non-fragrant state, and the carrier comprises an attachment element for fastening the fragrance means to the absorbent article.     Abstract: Absorbent structure for eg. a nappy, sanitary towel or incontinence pad, comprising at least two layers (2, 3) of different material. The first layer (2) comprises super-absorbent material which may be folded to width greater than the width of the second layer (3), which preferably comprises cotton wool. The length edges of the two layers are coincidental. Part (10) of the first layer is folded around the length edges (6) of the second layer and part, but not all, of this layer. This folded first layer forms one or more openings (7) that provide access to the second layer. Absorbent products containing these structures are also claimed.
