Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun visor, which is made from a raw material except for petroleum-based raw materials and has functions equal or superior to those of conventional products.SOLUTION: The sun visor comprises a foam molded article of a polylactic acid-based resin, manufactured by in-mold foam molding of a polylactic acid-based resin foamed material. The polylactic acid-based resin foamed material contains at least a polylactic acid-based resin. The polylactic acid-based resin shows exothermic peaks derived from crystallization in the measurement by use of a differential scanning calorimeter. When the exothermic peaks are segmented, from the low temperature side, into first, second, third and fourth segments, the peaks are in such figures that (1) the total calorific value of the first, second, third and fourth segments is 10 J/g or more and that (2) the percentage of the total calorific value of the first, third and fourth segments with respect to the total calorific value of the first, second, third and fourth segments is 45% or more.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing odor in polylactic acid-based foamed particles.SOLUTION: The method for reducing odor in polylactic acid-based foamed particles is characterized in that: odor derived from polylactic acid-based resin foamed particles is reduced by fluidizing the polylactic acid-based resin foamed particles in a container by a gas at a temperature of (T-40) to (T+15)°C (where T represents the glass transition temperature of the polylactic acid-based resin); and an average of odor intensity of a foam molded article obtained from the polylactic acid-based resin foamed particles having reduced odor is 3 or less in an odor test in which the odor of isovaleric acid diluted by 100,000 times is used as a standard odor indicating a level of 3 in odor intensity levels of from 0 to 5.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert molding which has a high fixing strength between an insert member and a foamed molding and achieves a high production efficiency. SOLUTION: In the insert molding 4, at least part of the insert member 5 is embedded in the molding body 6, and a through-hole 50 or a bent portion 51 to be filled with the foaming resin composing the molding body 6 is formed in the insert member 5. The insert molding 4 is produced using a fixed mold 2 and a movable mold 3 which forms a cavity 10 to be filled with the foaming resin with a fixed mold 2 in a clamped state, and a material charging feeder 7 is attached to the fixed mold 2. The insert member 5 is arranged within the cavity 10. The through-hole 50 or the bent portion 51 is filled with the foaming resin during molding and allows compressed air to be supplied into the cavity 10 to pass through when the raw material is charged from the material charging feeder 7. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core material for a bumper capable of actuating a collision sensor certainly while the shock eliminating effect is well maintained. SOLUTION: The core material of the bumper for a vehicle body is furnished with a front face arranged so as to confront a colliding body 4 and a rear face arranged so as to confront a reinforcement 20, and on the side of the rear face, a protruding piece 10 is installed to actuate the collision sensor 3 on the reinforcement 20. The core material 1 is equipped with a first member 11 formed from a first resin of soft nature able to exert a shock eliminating effect and constituting the front face and a second member 12 formed from a second resin harder than the first resin and exerting less shock eliminating effect, put in tight contact to the rear of the first member 11, and constituting the protruding piece 10. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower leg part shock absorption pad with sound insulating property which can effectively absorb the shock and effectively improve the sound insulating property (both sound absorbing property and sound insulating property or respective ones) in a cabin of an automobile. SOLUTION: The shock absorption pads A, A1, and A2 for a vehicle on which occupant's feet are placed is equipped with a pad body 10 which is composed of a foam molded product of thermoplastic resin beads and has a plurality of longitudinal through-holes 13 parallelly formed at an approximately equal interval. The sound insulting sheet 15, a sound absorption material 16, and the foam molded product 17 of the thermoplastic resin beads having permeability or the like are properly laminated on the pad body 10. Carpets 30, 31 having permeability or no permeability can be additionally laminated on the pad body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide trays that can be piled up into a compact form when they are not used and that enable themselves to be piled up in a stable form while protecting the items against a load without requiring any special partition plate under a condition in which the items are stored in the trays when they are used. SOLUTION: A tray T having a synthetic resin thin plate integrally molded into a corrugated sectional shape is provided with an item storing concave part 13L for use in storing an item WL. When the tray is not used while the item WL is not stored in it, the trays T are fitted to each other under the same attitude, resulting in that they can be piled up in such a way that their heights in a vertical direction may become compact. When the item WL is stored in an item storing concave part 13L during its use, the supporting steps 14, 16 of an upper stage tray T are rotated in a reverse direction by 180° alternatively in such a way that they may be supported at an upper wall 11 of a lower stage tray T, thereby a stable piling-up operation can be carried out under a state in which the load of the upper stage tray T is not added to the item WL stored in the lower stage tray T. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material that facilitates the checking work of encased articles and has an excellent cushioning property and shape-holding strength as a packaging material used for separately holding a plurality of encased articles and packaging them collectively. SOLUTION: The packaging material A, made of a thermoplastic resin foaming sheet and use for separately holding a plurality of encased articles and packaging them collectively, has a ceiling plate 3. Partitioning projections 31 for arranging and holding a plurality of encased articles B in parallel on the front and rear of each projection 31 and bearing projections 32 for receiving the encased articles B between respective partitioning projections 31 are formed on the ceiling plate 3. Each bearing projection 32 is provided with a see-through part 5 that is made transparent by compressive defoaming so that the see- through part 5 corresponds to each encased article B in each encasing part, i.e., the bearing projection 32, to enables the visible confirmation of the encased articles B. Thus, the encased articles B inside the package can be seen through the ceiling plate 3 from above. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
