    Abstract: The toe piece binding (1) has a support bearing (13) which is mounted rotatably in lateral bearing blocks (7), fixed to the ski, and on which the ski boot (14) rests with positive fit in the touring position. To achieve this positive fit, the boot sole has a recess (22) which is matched to the support bearing (14) constructed as a straight shaft, and in which the support bearing fits. Serving for fastening the boot on this support bearing is a tightening lever (9) which is mounted so as to be swivellable by means of tensioning struts (8) and has at its one end a pressure piece (10) which presses onto the projecting edge of the boot sole (11) in its closed position in which the tightening lever is in an after-dead-centre position. For downhill skiing, the boot is placed directly on the ski and the tightening lever (9) is swivelled below the support bearing (13) and has at its end opposite the pressure piece (10) a holding-down device (12) for the sole which grips over the upper sole edge in the downhill skiing position. In order that the tightening lever mounted so as to be swivellable on the tensioning struts cannot escape upwards, it is held by the support bearing (13), below which it is swivelled for the downhill skiing position.

An adjustable stop (2) encloses a nut screwed onto the clamp spindle (1) and which is enclosed by a coupling sleeve connected to the nut by a connector which in the clamped state slides at least in the unscrewing direction. The clamp has an end-piece rigidly connected to the spindle and with a bore extending at right angles to the spindle axis and accommodating the eccentric.

    Abstract: The protection uses a threaded bolt (1), which has a head (2) with asymmetric surfaces for shape-mating with an operating tool. The head is surrounded by a bush (5), with a clearance in order to allow the tool to be applied to the head. The head has asymmetric or irregular external teeth (3), and the tool is a socket key (7) with corresponding internal teeth (8). The bush projects above the head, and has a height and internal diameter which allow the key to be inclined relative to the axis of the bolt, by a maximum of 5 degrees. The bush may also be made from a hardened steel, in order to resist bending.
