Abstract: The two-part (1,2) ski binding has a base part (1) fixed to the ski, and a detachable part (2) attached by a release-mechanism (6,9) to the base part, in a position for use. The base (17) of a tensioning-piece (4) is fixed to the detachable part by its U-shaped guide jaw, at right angles to the ski upper surface have a tensioning-shaft on each side turned by a lever. The two sides top edges (20,21) bend partly inwards. The base-part has at least three freely rotating guide-rollers (10) with peripheral grooves (11). USE/ADVANTAGE - The all-purpose ski-binding, especially for ski jumping holds the ski-boot so that the heel can be lifted up, and the front part of the sole is attached to the binding by a tensioning piece.
