    Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow the easy accessing to a desired program and the cares and related items of this program by operating an operating switch to read out the voice data of the assigned unit from a voice memory. CONSTITUTION:The 1st program consisting of the plural units and the 2nd program having relations with every unit of the 1st program are stored into the voice memory 6. The operating switch 2 executes the change-over of the 1st and 2nd program and the change-over of the units. A control means 1 reads out the voice data of the unit assigned from the voice memory 6 in accordance with the signal from the operating switch 2. The change-over of the program or the change-over of the units in the programs is executed in accordance with the signal from the operating switch 2 in such a manner. The voice data of the assigned unit is then outputted from the voice memory 6 by the control means 1. The easy access to the desired program and the cares and related items of this program is possible in this way.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To convert a conversation on a single channel into a conversation on plural channels by controlling a reproduced single channel sound image with position information prepared separately. CONSTITUTION:After a data read from a memory 1 is converted into an original analog voice signal at a D/A converter 4, the result is applied to a headphone 7 via a resistance(r) and amplifiers 5, 6. On the other hand, each sentence and a channel designating signal representing R or L channel are stored in a memory 12 and since only either one of switches 8, 9 is turned on, an output v0 of the D/A converter 4 is attenuated to 1/2 only one of the R or L channel and the result is applied to the amplifier 5 or 6. Thus, the voice of the sentence is listened is by the headphone 7 only at the channel not subject to attenuation and separate left and right voices are listened to by the headphone 7 by using the channel designating signal.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To check automatically and accurately the suitability of a label provided to a cassette by equipping a method of reading a coded signal for a tape-kind decision, another method of reading a coded signal for the label, and a suitability decision circuit which compares and decides on those two output signals. CONSTITUTION:On reader tape part 2a of tape 2, coded signal 5 expressing the kind and length of this tape 2 is recorded by printing, etc. In arrow 4 of label 3, coded signal 4 is printed. As coded signals, signals with uniform bit generation intervals can be used. The tape signal and label signal of cassette 1 mounted on transparent conveyor belt 6 are taken by television cameras 7 and 12 and then converted into digital signals, which are decided on by suitability decision circuit 11. Through the decisions, suitability between a tape and label can be decided on automatically and accurately.
