Abstract: PURPOSE:To display a reserved program on a slave screen when a power source is set at an applied state at a time reserved and preset and to display the reserved program on a master screen when the power source is set at a disconnected state by providing a means to control the display of a CRT by judging the applied state of the power source. CONSTITUTION:Channel selection/setting is performed so that a prescribed channel can be operated at a prescribed time by depressing a reservation button on a keyboard 33 or a remote controller 34. Afterwards, when a preset time coincides with the present time and the timer 17 of a CPU31 is set at an ON state, the CPU31 judges the state of the power source 35, and sets the ON state of the power source 35 when it is not applied, and displays the output signal of a tuner 3 for master screen on the CRT6 via a PLL22. Also, when the power source 35 is applied, the CPU31 judges whether or not the turning ON of the slave screen, and turns on the slave screen by channel-selecting by reservation timer data when it is not applied. In such a way, it is possible to display the reserved program on the master screen when the power source is disconnected without missing an impotant scene by the sudden switching of the reserved program at the reserved time of the timer.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the turbulence of a picture at the time of displaying information with a simple constitution by switching a channel until a synchronizing signal is obtained when the synchronizing signal cannot be obtained from a prescribed channel and switching the channel again at the time of the completion of the display of the information to return to the prescribed channel. CONSTITUTION:When a video signal is not obtained and accordingly, the synchronizing signal is not obtained since the channel selected by a tuner circuit 2 is not broadcasted, the channel at this time is stored in a memory provided in a microcomputer 13. After a channel changing flag is set, a channel selection signal is supplied to the tuner circuit 2 from the microcomputer until the broadcasting channel from which the video signal is obtained and the channel is sequentially changed. In such a way, by changing to other broadcasting channel, the synchronizing signal of the video signal is obtained, and a reserved screen is displayed by using this synchronizing signal. The original channel stored by the memory of the microcomputer 13 is selected by the tuner circuit 2 to return to the channel selection state of the original channel.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent both a timer reserve mode and a timer cancel mode from being effective by providing a reserve cancel switch, and switching the display of a reserved day of the week and time on an image receiving tube screen to a reserve cancel display when the switch is operated. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 20 has a time timer and a program timer function for screen display, and its main body is a computer. Commands from this control circuit 20 are received to control a CRT control circuit 12 with an internal character generator and the microcomputer 11. The timer cancel key 27 for turning on and off a reserve timer is provided and when this key is off, a channel reserve display appears all the time. When the timer cancel key is on, the timer reserve display is switched to a blinking display unless a timer reservation is made. Thus, when the timer cancel key 27 is off, a normal channel reservation content display mode is entered, but when on, channel reservation contents are blinked.

The key 28 is a mode switching key and the key 29 is a timer key switching on/off a reservation timer. Then in order to supply a synchronizing pulse to a clock timer of the CPU21, an AC signal from a commercial AC source 37 is fed to a pulse circuit 38 to form a power supply synchronizing pulse. When the first event reservation is finished, only when all the event reservation information is inputted, the control circuit 20 generates a sound control signal to generate a confirming tone.

Pictures of the calendar are turned over automatically at a period of 2-3sec, and the display month is updated successively. When the display month is updated, the updated month of the calendar is displayed only for the automatic turn-over period. While this month of the calendar is displayed on a CRT tube surface, the date of this day is flickered at a certain period. Thus, the date of this day is distinguished easily from dates of the other days.

Thus, a user performs the respective kinds of operations corresponding to the position information of pressurizing the tablet key and the movement information of sliding it.

When data are stored in the nonvolatile memory 21, the remote commander 22 sends a prescribed edit command. The operation by the edit command is repeated as required.
