    Abstract: PURPOSE:To stably obtain a detection signal by forming the oscillation signal of a voltage controlled oscillator as a signal having a frequency apart from that of a video intermediate frequency signal. CONSTITUTION:A multiplier circuit 8 multiplies the oscillation signal of a PLL circuit synchronously with a video intermediate frequency signal with a video intermediate frequency phase-shifted and a detection signal is obtained at a detection signal output terminal 9 as the output signal of the multiplier circuit 8. Since a voltage controlled oscillator 10 oscillates a frequency signal being a half the intermediate frequency fp at free oscillation, the oscillation signal fp/2 has a nearly a half the frequency of the video intermediate frequency signal obtained at an input terminal 1. Even when the oscillation signal is leaked from the external terminal for mounting an oscillation frequency deciding element 10a into the input video intermediate frequency signal, since their frequencies are parted, the PLL circuit comprising the voltage controlled oscillator 10 is not self-locked to the oscillation signal and a frequency signal always stable is obtained as the output signal of the voltage controlled oscillator 10. Thus, the multiplication signal of the circuit 8 becomes a detection signal with stable detec tion and an excellent detection signal is obtained at an output terminal 9 stably.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of buzz and buzz beat, by applying an output signal of a video intermediate frequency amplifier circuit to a phase locked loop applying phase lock on an amplitude-modlated video carrier signal. CONSTITUTION:A video signal is sequentially applied to a trap circuit 5, a video detection circuit 6, a video amplifier circuit 7, and a trap circuit 8. A sound signal is applied to a phase locked loop 17 in which an output signal of a video intermediate frequency amplifier circuit is phase-locked to a video carrier signal with amplitude modulation. An output signal of a phase comparator 17a of the phase locked loop is applied to a BPF13. An audio intermediate freqeuncy signal as an output signal of the BPF13 is sequentially applied to a sound intermediate frequency amplifier 14, an amplitude limiter 15 and a frequency discriminating circuit 16 and the sound signal is obtained at an output terminal 16a.

The part 5 is furnished with four permanent magnets 9a, 9b, 9c, 9d opposingly so that their S-poles are positioned inside at a certain distance from the optical axis of the lamp bulb 6, and their peripheries are enveloped by a magnetic substance 10. The line of magnetic force A generated by the part 5 acts on the bulb 6 and enhances the brightness of the light source.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce noises without using any large-capacity memory and without spoiling the fineness so as to make a movement detecting circuit omittable, by detecting field or frame differences from ones, whose amplitudes are smaller than a prescribed one, of the signals of high-frequency components. CONSTITUTION:Means 2 and 4 which separate video signals into 1st signals having low-frequency components and 2nd signals having high-frequency components, means 5 and 8 which separate the 2nd signals into 3rd signals having amplitudes larger than a prescribed level and 4th signals having amplitudes smaller than the prescribed level, means 11-13 which detect 1-field or 1-frame signals on the 4th signals and obtain 5th signals, and means 3 and 7 which combine the 1st, 3rd, and 5th signals, are provided. As a result, high-frequency signal components can be compensated and deterioration of the fineness of pictures can be eliminated. Moreover, no large-capacity memory is required as a field or frame memory and a movement detecting circuit can be omitted.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To output a composite video signal that contains a synchronizing signal with a proper amplitude by amplifying an input composite video signal by a variable gain amplifier circuit and applying amplitude stretching process only to the synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:A transistor TRTR2 is brought into on-state for a period TS of synchronizing signal Sync of input video signal SCIN applied through a signal input terminal 20A in a composite video processing circuit 20. A variable gain type amplifier circuit 22 has gain G determined by resistances R1, R2 and R3 between the signal input terminal 20A and grounding, and the gain G is changed and controlled by on and off of TRTR2 of a synchronizing signal detecting circuit 21. When TRTR2 is in off-state the gain G1=(R2+R3)/(R1+R2+R3), and when TRTR2 is in on-state, gain G2=R2/(R1+R2). By this way, the amplitude stretching process is applied to output signal SCOUT by synchronizing signal Sync in the signal SCIN.

The frequency characteristics B of the filter 8 is selected higher than the video intermediate frequency fp at the resonance frequency fo, and the slope is selected as opposite slope alpha than the slope -alpha which is the normal Nyquist strobe given to the IF characteristics of the input filter 2 at the specified band DELTAf taking the frequency fp. When DELTAf is taken double or more the horizontal synchronizing signal frequency fH, and when the output signal of the correction filter 8 is made for intercarrier detection via the tuning circuit 9 to the audio carrier, the phase shift of the video carrier is cancelled and phase modulation component is avoided, the equivalent FM component is zeroed to avoid the production of buzz, thereby remarkably improving the buzz interference to the sub-channel.
