    Abstract: In a magnetic recording and/or reproducing apparatus of the kind in which the azimuth angles of recorded signals in adjacent tracks on a magnetic recording medium are made different with each other so as not to require a guard band and having a rotary head assembly including at least a pair of magnetic transducing heads, each having the head width larger than the track width, when a portion of an audio signal on the magnetic medium is re-recording, an identification information signal is recorded on a predetermined track in connection with the first or last track for which the re-recording is required so that signal deterioration and noise caused by track width fluctuation or variation is compensated for.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control a tape cassette by providing a memory element to a tape cassette and allowing the element to store the amount of tape running and a recording inhibit section information and the like. SOLUTION: A memory element 6 is embedded to the rear surface of a cabinet of a tape cassette 1 and this memory element is then connected to a microcomputer 15 for controlling operation of a deck via a plurality of connecting terminals 7 and conductive films 12. Upon completion of recording and reproduction, the microcomputer 15 causes the memory element 6 to store the count value of the tape running of a counter 19. When the tape cassette 1 is loaded to a deck for recording and reproduction, the count value is set to the counter 19 to display amount of tape running on a display panel 18. Moreover, since the recording inhibit section information of tape cassette is stored in the memory element, it is prevented that an important recording in this section is erased erroneously. As explained, effective use can be realized by embedding the memory element in the tape cassette.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily perform a remote control even between equipments whose command key operations are different by discriminating a mode by the command key operation and transmitting a signal in accordance with this mode. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a built-in command key 11 of the equipment is supplied to a key input circuit 12, a signal from a remote control signal receiving pat 13 is supplied to a signal control circuit 14, and they are processed by a command key processing circuit 16, through a mixer 15, supplied to a mode determining circuit 17, and the desired mode to be executed to the prescribed key operation is determined. The signal in accordance with this mode is supplied to a mode transition determining circuit 19 through a switch 18 and a transition means when the present mode is transferred to the desired mode is determined. Consequently, the signal of a bus line 3 is supplied to the circuit 19 as it is and the mode transition means can be determined. Thus, the remote control between the equipments whose command key operations are different can be easily performed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To add a perpetual calendar function to a one-chip microcomputer by obtaining the passed data from the value of a simple binary counter for calendar obtained when a power supply is cut off and the value of said binary counter obtained when the power supply is applied and obtaining the present data by calculation. CONSTITUTION:A time piece function circuit block 6 which receives a back-up power supply 14 is always working and a central arithmetic processing part 1 is actuated in a normal working state where a main power supply 13 is applied. Then the present data is calculated for each unit time based on the output of a timepiece counter 62 of said block 6. When the power supply is cut off, the data when the power supply is cut off is written into a memory part 4 together with the value of a simple binary counter 63 for calendar of the block 6. When the power supply is applied, said data and counter value are read out of the part 4. Then the passed data is calculated from the value of the simple binary counter for calendar obtained when the power supply is cut off and the value of the counter obtained when the power supply is applied to calculate the present data.
