Abstract: PURPOSE:To amend the lack of an audio signal even when a tape is longitudinally flawed in the middle part by recoding a video signal of one field or one frame to be divided into plural tracks and recording an audio signal at a prescribed interval as well. CONSTITUTION:The video signal of one field or one frame recorded in the tape 1 is divided into plural tracks to be as recorded, while the audio signal is recorded at a prescribed interval. One field or one frame is divided into plural tracks, e.g., five or ten tracks respectively. Then, in case of one field, four tracks with the video signal and the remaining one track with the audio signal are respectively recorded on a compressed time base, and in case of one frame, nine tracks with the video signal and the remaining one track with the audio signal are respectively recorded on a compressed time base. By this method, since the whole one track is filled with the audio signal, even when the tape is flawed longitudinally in the middle part, the lack of the audio signal can be amended.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To miniaturize a cassette holding mechanism by providing a link mechanism on the lower surface of a holder so as not to be protruded from a cassette holder side surface, elevating a cassette and shortening the lateral width up to the sum of two-times of the horizontal width of the cassette and the plate thickness of a holder. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette holder 10 is at a rising position, a cassette 42 is inserted and an arm 35 is depressed. Links 11 and 12 are turned against a spring 24, a reel stand on a moving chassis 13 is engaged to the reel of the holder 10. By interlocking to the action, a cassette cover 43 is opened, the chassis 13 advances to a fixed chassis 32, a magnetic tape and a rotary head are brought into contact with each other on the front surface of the cassette 42 and recording and reproducing are executed. The link mechanisms 11 and 12 fitted to the moving chassis are housed to the lower side of the holder 10 together with the spring 24 and a damper 25, the horizontal width of the elevating mechanism as a whole becomes the sum of two-times the width of the cassette 42 and the plate thickness of the holder 10, the lateral width can be miniaturized up to the limit and the device can be miniaturized.

Then, the controller 8 inserts a code indicating a turning back into a marker signal included in a sub-code supplied to the fixed contact (b) of a switch 19' at the time of the recording setting time T, switches a switch 10 to the contact (b) side and reverses the traverse of a tape. In such a way, at the time of the recording setting time during a recording, it is turned back and recorded, so that at the time of a reproduction it is not required to rewind but to simply treat it and improve operability.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain high accuracy for pitch feeding of a recording track by applying recording/reproducing while moving a slide member with a magnetic head fitted thereto in the broadwise direction of a magnetic tape wound onto a rotary head drum in slide contact thereupon. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic heads 11, 12 are connected to a rotor coil 20a of a rotary transformer 20 by a led wire and pick up a signal externally together with a stator coil 20b opposite to the rotor coil 20a and the turning phase of the magnetic heads 11, 12 is detected by driving a PG magnet 17 incorporatedly with the rotary drum 2 with respect to an FG/PC board 19. A magnetic tape led out of a tape cassette is wound horizontally on the rotary drum 2 of the rotary head drum 1 and the tape running system is formed to run the tape while the height of the tape is kept constant till the tape enters again the tape cassette, then the constitution is simplified more than that of the tape running system where the height of tape is varied while the tape guide or the like is tilted such as the helical scan system and the adjustment of the tape running system is simplified.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To compactly compose a head drum by arranging a stationary drum at the upper and lower sides of a head drum, inserting a feed screw so as to penetrate a guide sleeve and moving the head drum in the axial direction by this screw. CONSTITUTION:When a head drum 10 is driven with its rotation by a motor 17 by electrifying a coil 18, a magnetic head 12 abuts a magnetic tape 35 and the head drum 10 is moved in the axial direction by a motor 33 simultaneously with the rotation of the head 12. Namely the head drum 10 guided by a guide rod 28 via the upper and lower stationary drums 15, 16 is fed in the axial direction via a feed screw 31 with the rotation of the motor 33. Plural tracks are formed in parallel each other in element the same direction as to length direction of the magnetic tape on the surface of the magnetic tape running with the rotation of such drum 10 and movement in the axial direction and the magnetic recording of a parallel scanning method can thus be achieved.
