Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller through which the operation is conducted accurately and efficiently by displaying the relation between a current operating status of the controller and a content instructed by a user in the remote controller which is operated by a plurality of operators through a communication channel. SOLUTION: A work station 3 controls panning, tilting, zooming, focusing and exposure or the like for a video camera 1 placed on a panning tilter 2 through a communication channel. The work station 3 connects to each personal computer 5 which is an operation terminal via an internet channel. Furthermore, a video capture board provided to the work stations 3 receives an image photographed by the video camera 1, converts the image into image data which are sent to each personal computer 5. A display device 6 connected to the personal computer 5 displays the received image, operation contents and operation results or the like, and an operator 7 observing them confirms the operation of the video camera 1 operates it.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize uniform panorama video images. SOLUTION: An image pickup device is made up of an image pickup section 10 that acquires a unit image to constitute a panorama video image, a drive section moving an image pickup range of the section 10, and a central processing section 30 that controls the image pickup section 10 and a drive section 20. In the case of picking up the unit image, the image pickup conditions such as exposure, white balance and focus in the image pickup section 10 are maintained to be optimum conditions independently of the unit image. An image processing section 32 of the central processing section 30 synthesizes the unit imaged as a panorama image.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a sense of resolution of an image of which the sense of resolution is reduced by blur correction. SOLUTION: A texture extraction unit 171 extracts a texture component of a blurring image wherein blurs occur, and supplies the texture component to a synthesis unit 173. A mask generation unit 172 extracts an edge of a blur-corrected image resulting from blur correction of the blurring image and extends the extracted edge of the blur-corrected image in a direction wherein blurs of the blurring image occur, and generates a mask image for removing pixels included in the extended edge from a synthesis range. The synthesis unit 173 uses the mask image generated by the mask generation unit 172 to synthesize the texture component of the blurring image, which is extracted by the texture extraction unit 171, with the blur-corrected image. This invention is applicable to, for example, cameras. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record an image at the moment desired by a user. SOLUTION: An image holding section 53 holds a plurality of images captured from depression of a shutter button to focusing. A motion detection section 54 detects the motion between an unfocused image that is an image captured before focusing, and a focused image, in the plurality of images held by the image holding section 53. A motion compensation section 55 generates a motion compensation image corresponding to the unfocused image based on the motion detected by the motion detection section 54. A blur correction section 57 corrects blur of the unfocused image based on the motion compensation image generated by the motion compensation section 55 and the unfocused image. The present invention can be applied to, for example, a digital camera. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a panorama image with no sense of incompatibility regarding a change in weather, temperature, or the like. SOLUTION: A video signal from an imaging apparatus 10 as an imaging means is supplied to a video capture board 31 of a computer unit 30. In a lens block section 11, a magnification lens is driven in response to a driving command from a camera controller 41. The imaging apparatus 10 is installed on a rotary universal head 50 and driven in respective directions in response to a driving command from a pan/tilt controller 43. A mode controller 42 controls the imaging apparatus 10 and the rotary universal head 50 in response to an absolute position driving request from the computer unit 30. The computer unit 30 comprises a storage device 32, an image processor 33 and a controller 34 and these devices perform video signal processing and control for forming a panorama image. The video signal formed by the computer unit 30 is supplied to a computer monitor 60 and defined as a user interface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the confirmation of a current value, a target value and the like in the process of control. SOLUTION: A Fig. A shows a current value and a target value of information are matched. As in B, for example, a user operates a mouse, keyboard or the like to change the display position of a slider S2 for the target value. That is, a target value of control desired by the user is set. As in C, once the control is started, the display position of a slider S1 for the current value is gradually changed toward the display position of the slider S2. As in D, the display positions of the sliders S1 and S2 are matched to explicitly show that the current value of information has reached the desired value to complete the control. This method can facilitate the recognition of the current value and the target value set by the user in the process of control and facilitate the confirmation of the status of the controlled object to eliminate the risk of unnecessarily confusing the user and explicitly show the completion of control. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a video that is designated by referring to a panorama image, from a pan tilter camera by displaying a moving range of the pan tilter camera as the panorama image. SOLUTION: The video photographed by a camera portion 11 is sent to a video capturing portion 29 of a computer 1. The video is displayed in an operation area 6A of a monitor 2. The panorama image of which the images in part or all moving range of a pan tilter 28 are combined is displayed in a panorama operation area 6B. A pan tilter portion 12 sends current positional information of pan and tilt to the computer 1 through a mode controller 23. With a mouse 8, the operation area 6A or the panorama operation area 6B is operated so as to select an object. The computer 1 obtains data for driving the pan tilter 28. Thus, the selected object is displayed at the center of the operation area 6A. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

The imaging apparatus 10 is arranged on a rotary universal head 50 and driven in each direction with a drive instruction from a pan/tilter controller 43. A mode controller 42 controls the imaging apparatus 10 and the rotary universal head 50 in response to an absolute position drive request from the computer 30. The computer 30 is provided with a storage 32, an image processor 33 and a controller 34, and video signal processing and control are carried out by them. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scan converter that prevents outrun from being generated. SOLUTION: A read timing generator 5 synchronously generates vertical synchronizing signal of image data read from a field memory/interpolation circuit 1 with a read clock outputted from a crystal oscillation circuit 13. A phase comparator circuit 17 compares the vertical synchronizing signal of the read image data with a vertical synchronizing signal, written in the field memory/interpolation circuit 1 and gives a voltage, corresponding to the phase difference to a crystal oscillation circuit 13 as a control voltage via a loop filter 19 and a digital/analog converter 20. The crystal oscillation circuit 13 outputs a clock signal with a frequency which corresponds to the control voltage.
