CONSTITUTION:Based on primary color signals R, G, B obtained by a video camera 31, a converter circuit 7 is used to calculate in advance a difference signal between one intermediate color signal and one primary color signal and a difference signal between the two other primary color, signals and they are read in frame memories 20, 21. Each of picture processor circuits 11, 12, 13 executes picture processing based on the signal read from the frame memories 20, 21.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the precision of measurement and adjustment of color convergence by using a crosstalk coefficient to calculate the luminance level distribution of each color fluorescence based on the light intensity level distribution of each color component. CONSTITUTION:A solid-state image pickup device 3 picks up the image of a display face of a color cathode-ray tube 1 through a filer 2 consisting of red, green, and blue filters to measure the light intensity distribution on all of the display face. A signal processor 6 performs prescribed signal processing based on respective chrominance signals and data read out from respective chrominance signal memories 5R, 5G, and 5B. That is, crosstalk coefficients indicating the light intensity levels in which red, green, and blue color fluorescence forming a white measuring pattern in the color cathode-ray tube 1 are measured as the other color components through the color filter 2 are preliminarily measured, and crosstalk coefficients are used to calculate the luminance level distributions based on light intensity level distributions of respective color components, which are measured through the filter 2, of the measuring pattern displayed on the color cathode-ray tube 1.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate a troublesome practice to connect a large-sized connector or a plurality of connectors having the number of contacts only for measurement points in replacement work of a fixture section installed to obtain measurement signals for an electronic circuit board. CONSTITUTION:There are installed a signal selection circuit 14, an analog/digital converter, and a parallel/serial converter 16, such as a multiplexer in a fixture section. There is also installed a serial/parallel converter 18 to a test section of a device itself, thereby converting a large number of measurement signals, which are transmitted from a contact pin 6a with an electronic circuit, into serial digital signals so that the signals may be transmitted by way of a cable which connects the fixture section to a device main body. As a result, this construction makes it possible to reduce the number of contacts dramatically, and connect the connectors with ease. It is also possible to reduce the number of connectors remarkably even when no parallel/serial converter 16 and no serial/parallel converter 18 are installed.
