Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a practical three-dimensional display device capable of safely, easily and surely displaying a three-dimensional image. CONSTITUTION: A transparent and block shape three-dimensional display 3 is incorporated in the television monitor type cabinet of this three-dimensional display device 1. This three-dimensional display 3 is constituted by stacking by superimposing perpendicularly plural polymer-nematic liquid crystal plates 10 as macromolecule dispersion liquid crystal plates which display cutting plane which an object to be displayed desired to display on the three-dimensional image is cut sequentially from its end is displayed in a two-dimensional image 2D. The surface of each liquid crystal plate 10 is presented in shape of cloudy ground glass by dispersing light ordinarily, and also, it is presented in shape of transparent glass by applying an AC voltage to electrodes arranged in shape of dot matrix in each liquid crystal plate 10. In this way, a stereoscopic image is displayed on the three-dimensional display 3 by displaying the two-dimensional image 2D on each liquid crystal plate 10, respectively.

An LPF 41 extracts out components up to a frequency desired to be canceled and a current detector 42 drives a current source 43. Then an output from the current source 43 is supplied to a subtracter 46. The subtracter 46 subtracts the component up to the frequency extracted by the LPF 41 from current supplied through a current detector 44 and a current source 45 and outputs the result through the output terminal 47.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and image processing method for detecting a motion of an image with simpler processing to the utmost and high accuracy without the need for using a memory with a large storage capacity from an image signal providing an image with high density (high resolution) and for applying pixel interpolation processing to moving pixels. SOLUTION: A motion detection section 23 of an image signal processing circuit 10 receives supply of a high density interlace image signal of odd number fields from a field memory 22A and high density interlace image signal of even number fields in one preceding field, utilizes line correlation within one frame, easily detects whether each pixel in one frame is a moving pixel or a still pixel with high accuracy, and an interpolation section 24 applies linear field interpolation to the moving pixel to generate interpolated pixel data and output the data. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the noise of video data. SOLUTION: This image processor 20 is attached to a camera or the like and a sensor 9 detects the moving amount of the camera. An image processing part 7 reads the video data from a frame memory 5 and outputs the video data while correcting them based on a correction amount outputted from a correction amount detection processing part 8 at the time of outputting them to a difference computing part 2. The correction amount detection processing part 8 calculates data relating to correction performed by the image processing part 7 based on the moving amount of the camera detected by the sensor 9. The difference computing part 2 computes the difference of the corrected video data of one-frame-preceding and the video data image picked up at present, and outputs the result through an attenuator 4 to a noise reduction computing part 3. The noise reduction computing part 3 performs computation for reducing the noise from inputted data.

The video audio signal reproducing device 1 outputs the video audio signal beforehand stored in the RAM 8 to a circuit of a poststage in the case of transiting from a standby state to a reproducing state. On the other hand, the video audio signal reproducing device 1 reads the video audio signal succeeding to the video audio signal outputted from the RAM 8 beforehand storing it in the RAM 8 from the recording medium 100. The video audio signal reproducing device 1 reproduces the stored video audio signal while performing the read-in operation of the data from the recording medium 100 by the reproducing start operation to improve a response speed.

A characteristic amount detection circuit 17 detects a moving amount of the video signal and a characteristic amount denoting the presence or the like of a telop. A system controller 20 detects an image to be displayed as a search image, based on the additional information and the characteristic amount. When an image is detected, the system controller 20 gives an identification signal denoting the image to a recording processing circuit 14 and the recording processing circuit 14 records the identification signal to, e.g. a sub code or the like.

The holding decision processing circuit 13 obtains holding time information from a reference information part 15 corresponding to the respective additional information and supplies erasable time to a recording/reproducing signal processing circuit 5. In the recording/reproducing signal processing circuit 5, the erasable time is optimally processed for recording and recorded in an additional information recording medium 8. A video audio signal is recorded in a recording medium 7. When there is no space in the recording medium 7, the erasable time is read from the additional information medium 8, an area after the passage of the erasable time is detected and the video audio signal is recorded in this area.
