PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller and a communication system capable of normally receiving data from an electric equipment side to enable data processing, and capable of reducing the amount of electricity consumption. SOLUTION: The remote controller 100 includes: a key operation section 105 comprising a plurality of operation keys; an RF transmission and reception section 102 for transmitting and receiving a signal to and from a television receiver 200 by RF radio communication; and a remote controller CPU 103 having a power control function for controlling power. The remote controller CPU 103 for controlling power performs control to a normal power state from when a signal is input by operation key input to when a prescribed time passes, allows the RF transmission and reception section 102 to transmit and receive the signal to and from the television receiver 200, and performs control to a low power consumption state after the prescribed time elapses. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply constitute electronic equipment (node) which can be connected to the IEEE 1394, e.g. by radio wave. SOLUTION: The node 100 is constituted of a control part 252, a RAM 253, a ROM 254, an application part 255 and IR communication equipment 212. The control part 252 controls the individual parts by a command, etc., from the application part 255. The RAM 253 functions as CSR for bridging IEEE 1394, and the control part 252 identifies the node 100 as a portal from the side of a bus 21. The application part 255 executes communications on the IEEE 1394 such as an AV command and also commands the reservation of a band capacity, etc., to be used for synchronous communication in the bus to the control part 252. A selector 256 transmits data from the control part 252 or the application part 255 to the IR communication part 271 and selectively outputs data from the part 271 to the control part 252 or the application part 255.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify control of transmission permission for each node by switching to a lower data transfer speed and using it if a communication device is compatible with a higher data transfer speed. SOLUTION: When different data transfer speeds coexist, for example, controlled nodes 2 and 3 of 50 Mbps and a controlled node 4 of 25 Mbps coexist, data transmission from the controlled nodes 2(3) to a control node 1 is performed at 50 Mbps, the highest data transfer speed, out of the data transfer speeds common to be nodes 1 to 3. Since the highest data transfer speed of the controlled node 4 is 25 Mbps, the data transfer speed for data transmission from the controlled node 4 to the control node 1 is selected to be the highest speed of 25 Mbps common to the nodes 1 and 4. For instance, in the case of a battery operation, the transfer speed of data to be transmitted is changed to the slow speed, in this case, to the lowest data transfer speed that the controlled node has.

PURPOSE:To provide a device which can encode the multichannel audio data with high efficiency and with a high compression rate regardless of the degree of correlation of digital data among plural channels. CONSTITUTION:The primary requantization means 225a-225h requantize the coded audio data and also generate the parameter information on these coding operations. A detector means 226 detects the common items based on the audio data that are requantized by the means 225a-225h and the parameter information. Then the secondary requantization means 227a-227h requantize at least some of those common items detected by the means 226.

CONSTITUTION:Center, left center, and right center channels are synthesized by a CC synthesizer 22a, and left and left center channels are synthesized by an LL synthesizer 22b, and right and right center channels are synthesized by an RR synthesizer 22c, and left, left center, center, right center, and surround left channels are synthesized by an Lmix synthesizer 22d, and right, right center, center, left center, and surround right channels are synthesized by an Rmix synthesizer 22e, and audio signals of 10 channels in total are generated by these synthesized channels and left, right, surround left, surround right, and subwoofer channels.

The main body includes a display unit capable of displaying an image in front of a user eye. The operation unit includes a buffer unit connected to the main body and deformable against the main body, and a first detector unit for outputting a detection signal according to the deformation. The control unit generates an image signal for generating an image on the basis of the detection signal, to output the image signal to the display unit.

The see-through display is located before an eye of a user. The image mask generator is configured to generate an image mask. The image generator is configured to generate a display image with the image mask being superimposed upon an original image. The image display unit is configured to display the display image on the see-through display.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of an information processor or the like capable of making an object within a screen make a special movement which is the movement that a user can intuitively operate using an operation device loaded with a pressure sensor at least.SOLUTION: An information processing system includes: the operation device operated by the user; and a display device for receiving operation information transmitted from the operation device and executing display processing on the basis of the information. The operation device includes the pressure sensor, a rotation sensor, an acceleration sensor, etc., and transmits the information obtained by the sensors to the display device. The display device cyclically changes object information related to the rotation speed of the operation device on the basis of the received information of a pressure (steps 307-310). The change of the rotation state of the object corresponding to the pressure is displayed within the screen. Thus, an intuitive operation is made possible using the pressure when the user holds the operation device.

The substrate body and the comb-shaped part can be flexed and deformed.
