Abstract: PURPOSE:To mount either of a disk cartridge and a disk single body by moving a shutter opening mechanism to such position by a shutter opening member movement operating means, which is interlocked with the moving operation of the cartridge holder to the lowering position, that the rotation of the rotating disk is not hindered. CONSTITUTION:When a cartridge holder 25 is lowered without inserting the disk cartridge, a shutter opening member 51 is moved to such position in accordance with the moving operation of the cartridge holder 25 by a shutter opening member movement operating means 99 that the member 51 does not hinder the rotation of the disk placed on a disk table. That is, the shutter opening member is moved to such position that it does not hinder the rotation of the disk though the cartridge holder is lowered to the disk table side without inserting the disk cartridge, and therefore, the disk single body can be preliminarily placed on the disk table. Thus, either of the optical disk single body and the disk cartridge can be set.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a disk device small-sized and thin by bringing plural spherical members, which are disposed to a fitted body advanceably and retreatably and are energized by an elastic member to project outward, into contact with the upper edge part of the inside part of the center hole of a disk to elastically press and support the disk on a disk table. CONSTITUTION:When plural rigid balls 13 are moved toward a shaft part 11a, they press an O-ring 12 to elastically deform it, and it is energized to project outward from a cap part 11. When a disk 2 is placed on a disk table 3, each rigid ball 13 is brought into contact with the upper edge part of the inside part of a center hole 2a, and the O-ring 12 presses this upper edge part obliquely downward to the outside of the cap part 11 through rigid bodies 13. That is, the O-ring 12 centers the disk 12 to a driving shaft 1a and presses and supports the disk on the disk table 3. Thus, the disk device is made small-sized and thin, and assembly and production are facilitated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To change the disk diameter of a disk shaped recording medium substantially and to permit the loading operation of a disk player even having a diameter smaller than a universal and constant outer diameter size, by placing the disk shaped recording medium on a supporting member, and sandwiching it with the supporting member and a sandwiching member. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is the one which changes the disk diameter of a disk 25 having the diameter R2 smaller than the universal disk diameter R3 of an optical disk to the universal diameter R3 substantially by sandwiching the disk 25 having a small diameter with an annular disk supporting member 26 having the outer diameter R1 same as the disk diameter R3 and an annular disk sandwiching member 27. The disk supporting member 26 is formed with synthetic resin having rigidity, and is provided almost the same thickness as that of the optical disk, and on its inner peripheral side, a disk placing piece 29 capable of placing the disk 25 having the small diameter is provided. By placing the disk 25 having the small diameter on the placing piece 29 and integrating on the disk supporting member 26 cooperating wit the sandwiching member 27, it follows that the size of universal disk diameter R3 is attached on the disk diameter.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an ensure loading operation of disk B similarly to the case of disk A by displaying a loading direction of the B on an inner peripheral side of the A and holding the outer peripheral part of the B with pressing force due to elastic deformation in the central direction of the A, in the disks A and B with prescribed outer diameters. SOLUTION: A disk fitting hole 27 fitting a small-sized disk 26 of a disk size R2 is formed on the inner peripheral side of a circular body 25 with the same outside diameter R1 as a standard optical disk, and a disk hold member 28 is attached to a peripheral part of the hole 27. The member 28 has elasticity, and the outer peripheral part 26a of the disk 26 is fitted to the disk fitting groove 29 of the inner peripheral surface, and a pair of holding pieces of an outer periphery hold the peripheral part of the hole 27 therebetween by pressing force due to respective elastic deformation. Further, the mirror surface and the print surface 25b of the circular body 25 are formed similarly to the mirror surface and the print surface 26c of the disk 26, and the loading direction of the disk 26 is shown clearly. Thus, the disk 26 is loaded on a disk player easily and precisely similarly to the standard disk.
