    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for battery which has a good shutdown property and a good heat resistance, by laminating a minute porous layer consisting of a cellulose fiber, and a synthetic fiber generating no thermal melting; and a minute porous layer with thermal melting property. SOLUTION: A minute porous layer 44 (an adiabatic layer) generating no thermal melting is formed from a pulp slurry which consists of a cellose fiber, and a synthetic fibril refined to the water retentivity less than 210 to 450%. And a thermal melting type of minute porous layer 45 (thermal melting layer) which consists of a polyolefin resin is formed from a pulp slurry made by mixing a polypropylene synthetic pulp or the like, and a polypropylene/polyethylene core sheath fiber or the like. By laminating both slurrys to manufacture a paper by using an inclined wire to the adiabatic layer 44, and a circular net to the thermal melting layer 45, to form a laminate sheet. The laminate sheet laminating the adiabatic layer 44 and the thermal melting layer 45 is calendered at about 80 deg.C and the line pressure about 50kg/cm, to obtain a separator for battery 34. This separator is used to a secondary battery and the like.

In this case, a heat resistant porous film 20 of either of a polyimide film, a polyamide film, an inorganic film and an inorganic material film is adjacently arranged in the whole or a part of this thermally meltable resin microporous film 8.

SOLUTION: Two piezoelectric elements 116a, 116b are set for each ink chamber 114 corresponding to a nozzle 118. After one piezoelectric element 116a starts to discharge ink drops, the other piezoelectric element 116b is displaced while the ink chamber 114 is shrunken because of a displacement of the piezoelectric element 116a, so that the ink chamber 114 is shrunken further. Trailing of ink drops is accordingly stopped at an early stage and generation of satellite drops is restricted. Generation of the satellite drops can be restricted most effectively particularly if the piezoelectric element 116b is started to be displaced at a time point when the piezoelectric element 116a has been displaced most.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve volumetric efficiency, enhance barrier property of gas and water and attain improvement of vibration resistance and shock resistance, by providing a metal thin film layer in at least an internal/external peripheral surface of a resin frame of a secondary battery. SOLUTION: A secondary battery 10 is constituted of a battery case 11, electrode unit 20 and an electrolyte with which the electrode unit is impregnated. The battery case 11 includes a frame-shaped resin frame 12 by integrally molding and two sheets of sheet-shaped covers 13 for closing an opening part of the resin frame 12. The resin frame 12 is integrally formed by injection molding. The resin frame 12, after molding at least in an internal peripheral surface and/or external peripheral surface, is formed with a metal thin film layer by a plastic plating process or the like. For instance, the resin film 12 is mounted in a plating jig, chemical etching, activation, electroless copper plating, nickel plating and chromium plating are successively performed, as a whole, a metal plating film of about 40μm thickness is formed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat square battery and a flat square battery module on which volume and weight energy efficiency can be improved without thickening the case and the space factor is improved and which is excellent in vibration resistance. SOLUTION: A unit cell battery 1 is formed by arranging lug pieces 11 having through holes 11a in the four corners of a surface in parallel to an electrode surface of a multilayer electrode body in a case by surrounding a flat square multilayer electrode body by the case. A flat square battery module is constituted in such as way that the unit cell batteries 1 are juxtaposed in a plurality so that the electrode surfaces become parallel to each other, and bolts 14 are penetrated through the through holes 11a of the lug pieces 11, and nuts 23 are screw-fitted and fastened to the bolts 14 for fastening a plurality of the unit cell batteries.

SOLUTION: An electrode stack body 1 is impregnated with a non-aqueous electrolyte. Also, the lead part of the electrode stack body 1 is welded to the positive lead material 11a of a positive electrode terminal 11 and the negative lead material 12a of a negative electrode terminal 12. The terminal parts of the positive and negative electrode terminals 11 and 12 are provided with terminal collars 13 and 14 of polyolefine resin integrally formed through an outsert molding process. Also, a bag type case 21 is made of a film with polyolefine resin coated at least to one side of a metallic foil, and the terminal collars 13 and 14 are thermally bonded to the electrode terminal insertion holes 25b and 25c of the film.
