Abstract: The bicycle comprises a drive assist attached to a driving wheel, a driving power transmission means (20) attached between a sprocket (26) and a rear wheel, a pair of pedal levers (22R), a crank lever (30R) for transmitting a rotation force of the pedal lever to the sprocket and a sliding portion (40R) serving as a swing fulcrum of the pedal lever. A slide pin (42R) at one end of the pedal lever slides within the slide portion in accordance with the rotation of the pedal lever to transmit a rotation force generated by the rotation of the pedal lever to the rear wheel through the sprocket. A pedaling force sensor (52) is attached to a part of the pedal lever which makes nearly reciprocating motion, and the output from the sensor is supplied through a signal wire (54) or the like to a controller which controls the drive-assist.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To fix stacked electrodes and increase shock resistance and reliability of electrodes by welding specified parts of separators of a stacked body in the stacking direction to fix the stacked position relation of positive electrodes and the negative electrodes. CONSTITUTION: Positive electrodes and negative electrodes each of which is enveloped in a bag-shaped separator are mutually stacked to form a rectangular stacked body 14. A positive lead 2a formed by extending a current collector of the positive electrode in the rectangular stacked body 14 is welded to a positive lead body 11a having almost the same length as the longitudinal length of the positive lead 2a over the whole length. The stacked body 14 to which the positive lead body 11a and a negative lead body 12a are welded is placed in a flat square type battery case 10.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent overcharge by reducing current quantity to be supplied to a battery gradually as charging of a battery goes on. CONSTITUTION:A battery charging device charges power from a current source 1 to a battery 4. A variable resistance 7 is provided in parallel with the battery 4, and a current voltage value of the battery 4 is detected by a cell voltage detection part 8. The current voltage value is compared with a set voltage value at a comparator part 9, and in accordance with result of this comparison, a resistance value of the variable resistance 7 is controlled in such a way that a current from the current source 1 is separated on the battery 4 side and on the variable resistance 7 side as charging of the battery 4 goes on.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress excessive heat generation in the battery inside, increase the output density per unit weight and unit volume, remarkably lower the manufacturing cost, and improve the production yield. CONSTITUTION:An electrode part 1 is composed by arranging a plurality of coiled electrode elements 11 in parallel and symmetric positions and bundling them by a belt or a thermally shrinkable tube 32. A negative electrode lead 12 made of Ni and a positive electrode lead 12 made of pure aluminum are connected with each coiled electrode element 11 and the divided negative electrode leads 12 are converged into one negative electrode lead 12. A heat sensitive battery shutting element 16, which is a protective element, is connected with each positive electrode lead 13 in series and at the tips, the divided positive electrode leads 13 are converged into one positive electrode lead 13 in the same way as the negative electrode leads 12.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of easily, accurately manufacturing in a desirable shape, with high conductivity and high heat radiating capability, low internal resistance, and remarkably low manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION:A container 3 is formed in an almost square thin housing, and has an opening 3a in the upper part. An electrode part 1 is put into the container 3 from the opening 3a through a polyethylene sheet 16. A nonaqueous electrolyte prepared by dissolving an electrolyte in a nonaqueous solvent is poured from the opening 3a to impregnate the electrode part 1, and upper cover 2 is fixed to the opening 3a by ultrasonic welding or heat press welding to seal and constitute a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the energy volume density and the weight density, and to lighten and downsize a device by forming one side surface of a cell case, which is formed in parallel with an electrode surface of a layered electrode, into a flexible thin plate. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode 21b and a positive electrode 21a are arranged alternately so that each lead part thereof is overlapped with each other, and a polyethylene film 21c is interposed between them for lamination, and the periphery thereof is wound with a viscous tape 11 for fixation to form a layered electrode 10. A positive and a negative lead parts 13, 14 are welded to a positive and a negative electrode terminals 5, 6 inside of a barrel part 2. Thereafter, a film 3 made of aluminium foil, which is laminated with polyethylene at a predetermined thickness, is fixed to both side surfaces of the barrel part 2 by the heat seal, and the electrolyte is filled from an electrolyte filing port 8 provided in the upper part of the case 4. Since the side surfaces of the case are thereby formed flexible, a cell is lightened. Plural cells are arranged inside of a battery case and pressurized by a pressurizing spring to form a battery.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable distinctly expressing, e.g. a stereotyped sentence, etc., and selectively transferring a desired full-colored picture image to a specified region by forming a receptive layer on a base paper and by applying printing to a required region other than a transfer target region on the base paper or receptive layer. CONSTITUTION:A receptive layer 2 composed of polyester resin containing, e.g. epoxy-modified silicone oil as a separating material is formed on one surface of a base paper 1 constituted by lamination of a polypropylene chemical fiber paper 12 on both sides of the so-called coat paper 11 obtained by coating, e.g. a woodfree paper with clay or other material, and a lubricating layer 13 composed of. e.g. polyacrylic resin is formed on the other surface. A receptive paper 6 having such constitution can be used as a New Year's card, when a desired full-colored picture image is selectively transferred to the transfer target region 3 of the receptive paper by a heat-sensitive head according to a sublimation heat transfer system, i.e. via ink ribbon successively having respective dye layers containing subliming dyes such as yellow, magenta and cyan.
