    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve long term stability by adding an aliphatic amide to dicumyl peroxide to be used as a bridging agent for a bridged polyolefin resin composing an insulation layer so that generation of water is inhibited. CONSTITUTION:Dicumyl peroxide is used as a bridging agent and a polyolefin resin with 0.01-2weight% of an aliphatic amide added thereto forms an insulation layer. Either one, two or more of low density polyethylene produced through the high pressure method or the low pressure method, ethylene vinyl acetate and ethoxyethyl acrelate, is used as the polyolefin resin. Combinational use of an aliphatic amide allows to inhibit generation of water, that is a residue produced as a result of decomposition of dicumyl peroxide. With this procedure it is possible to inhibit generation of water caused by being heated so that an insulated cable usable at a high electric field and outstanding in long term stability can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate separation work between two layers by providing an outer semiconductive layer, which is made by mixing carbon black and crosslinking agent to the specific ethylene-acrylic ester copolymer, on a crosslinked polyethylene insulated layer. CONSTITUTION:On a crosslinked polyethylene insulation layer 3 is provided an outer semiconductive layer which is made by mixing carbon black and a crosslinking agent to an ethylene-acrylic ester copolymer that is polymerized nearly at a uniform temperature like an autoclave-type reactor and where the content of acrylic ester is 25% or more by weight. Accordingly, it becomes possible to lift the heating bridge temperature up to near the resolution temperature of the polyethylene and crosslinking time can be shortened. Hereby, the content of the acrylic ester becomes almost uniform at every minute and the separation becomes easy.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain a stable long-term adhesion, by adding carbon black to an adhesive layer of a colored tape. CONSTITUTION:The titled tape comprises a colored polymer tape layer and an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer contains carbon black. The amt. of the carbon black added is pref. 0.1-20wt%. Examples of the polymer of the polymer tape layer include soft polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, chloroprene rubber, and ethylene/propylene rubber. The soft polyvinyl chloride is particularly preferable. The adhesive of the adhesive layer can be prepd. by adding a tackifier, such as a polyterpene resin or a modified rosin, to a rubber.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a colored tape which has excellent long-term stability of adhesive power and suitable for use particularly in coloring a power-transmission steel tower by winding it around the steel, by forming a self-adhesive layer on one side and a colored plastic layer on the other side of a metal foil. CONSTITUTION:A colored plastic layer 1 is formed on one side of a metal foil 3 (e.g, an aluminum foil) having excellent flexibility and strength by melt- extruding a colored plastic, such as an ionomer, a thermoplastic polyester or an ethylene-(meth)acrylic acid copolymer resin, which can be melted by heating to adhere directly to a metal. A self-adhesive layer 2 is formed on the other side of the metal foil 3 by applying a self-adhesive prepared by mixing a rubber, such as natural rubber, an isoprene rubber or a styrene-butadiene rubber, with a tackifier, such as a polyisobutylene, a polyterpene resin or a modified rosin.
