In such a case, the width of the grooves 16a, 16b for gap formation in accordance with the gap length of the erasing gaps g1, g2, can be adjusted arbitrarily by selecting the width of the grindstone appropriately. In this way, the accuracy of the gap length of the erasing gaps g1, g2 can be improved.
