PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide slide screens whose opening width is large. SOLUTION: A hanger rail 2 is provided with a storage part 2c and a moving part 2d. A frame F composed of thin plates is arranged near the storage part 2c. Carriers 15a-15d are respectively disposed with runners 3-10 at positions near both ends and each of the runners 3-10 are attached between two stoppers 18, i.e. are attached with the total of four stoppers 18. The runners 3-10 can be moved relatively in the range limited by the stoppers 18 along the carriers 15a-15d and the carriers 15a-15d are suspended and supported by the runners 3-10 in such a manner that they can freely turn in the horizontal direction. The storage part 2c is bent toward the interior of a room and is set in such a manner that it is slightly inclined in the direction of the gravity toward its end. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield-material lifting device for a solar shading device capable of continuously lowering a bottom rail even when the lowering of the bottom rail is obstructed in a moment and the solar shading device. SOLUTION: A winding shaft 4 is housed rotatably in a head box 1. The winding shaft 4 is formed in an approximately cylindrical shape, and one end of a lifting-lowering cord 6 is engaged by notched sections 4b formed on both sides in the radial direction of the end section. The other end of the cord 6 is guided to the lower section of the head box 1 from a guide hole 2a formed to a support member 2, and installed to the bottom rail. The outer periphery of the winding shaft 4 is covered with a tube 7. The tube 7 is formed in a cylindrical shape while the radius of a circle drawn by the inner peripheral surface of the tube 7 is set so as to be made slightly larger than that of the circle drawn by the outer peripheral surface of the winding shaft 4. An opening having a size from one diameter of the cord 6 to less than two diameters is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the tube 7 and the outer peripheral surface of the winding shaft 4. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tucking-up curtain which makes lighting from the upper part of a window possible while putting the lower part of the window into a light shielding state. SOLUTION: The tucking-up curtain which lifts curtain fabrics hung down and supported from a heat box 1 within a prescribed lifting range is constituted by liftably hanging down and supporting the first fabric 10 which is made shieldable of light only at the prescribed height within the lifting range or below from the head box 1 and liftably hanging down and supporting the second fabric 2 which is made shieldable of light at least from the head box 1 up to the prescribed height 1.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly airtight horizontal blind which achieves the airtightness between the divided air spaces when the blind is closed. SOLUTION: The vertical blind is composed of ladder cords 32 which support slats 33 and adjust their angle and a tape moving up and down 34 which makes a bottom rail 37 go up and down. The slats have rectangular holes 36 which are long in the longitudinal direction of the slats, are located closer to the back edges of the slats 33, and are used to allow the tape to go through the slats. The slats also have notches 35 which are slightly wider than the diameter of the ladder cords 32, are located longitudinally apart from the rectangular holes 36 and facing the front edge, and are used to allow the ladder cords to go through the slats. When the slats are horizontal, the front edges sides of the slats jut by a specified length over the ladder cords 32. When the slats are closed, the jutting part of the lower slat 33 is brought into contact as being lapped by the upper slat 33 and the holes 36 of the lower slat are covered, and at the same time the notches 35 of the upper slat 33 are covered by the body of the lower slat 33.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance weight in which a bottom cord can be separated from the balance weight without damaging the balance weight when the bottom cord is trampled on.SOLUTION: A balance weight of the present invention is attached to a lower end of a slat of a vertical blind and attached to a bottom cord, and includes a body part attached to the slat, and a connector attached to the bottom cord and slidably connected to the body part. One of the body part and the connector includes a male rail part having a wide part at the tip side and having a narrow part narrower than the wide part at a base end side. The other of the body part and the connector includes a female rail part engaged with the male rail part and capable of sliding movement to the male rail part. In at least one of the male rail part and the female rail part, a first locking convex part is provided that prevents the separation between the connector and the body part in the normal use, and separates the connector from the body part in the lower direction by the slide movement when the force exceeding a threshold value is applied to the connector.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical blind which can prevent damage to a slat hanger attachment device and a bottom cord attachment device by separating the bottom cord from a balance weight when excessive downward tension acts on the bottom cord and which can facilitate restoration work of the bottom cord.SOLUTION: A vertical blind comprises a slat hanger attachment device which supports elastically each of slat hangers suspending and supporting slats, in a large number of runner suspended shafts supported by a hanger rail, and a bottom cord attachment device which connects a balance weight attached to the lower end of each slat by a bottom cord so that the bottom cord is supported by the balance weights. In the vertical blind, the tension needed for separating a bottom cord 5a from the balance weights is made smaller than the tension needed for separating the slat hanger from the suspended shaft.
