Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the exhaustion dyeing of a fiber structure with an org. pigment or oil-soluble dye having a high color fastness by using a pigment composite or dye composite comprising a bimolecular film of an amphiphatic compd. and the pigment or dye contained therein. SOLUTION: This pigment composite or dye composite comprises a bimolecular film of an amphiphatic compd. and an org. pigment or oil-soluble dye contained therein in a molar ratio of 0.2-5. Synthetic fibers (e.g. polyester fibers), semisynthetic fibers (e.g. rayon), and natural fibers (e.g. cotton) are dyed by the exhaustion dyeing with a dyeing liq. contg. the composite at a pH of 2-11 at 20-140 deg.C. The amphiphatic compd. comprises a hydrophilic part and a hydrophobic part consisting of an 8-18C long-chain alkyl group or its deriv. group, and a natural lipid (e.g. phosphatidylcholine) or a synthetic product such as a dialkyldimethylammonium salt or a dialkylphosphate is used as the compd.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dye complex having an epoch-making effect on the improvement of dyeing speed and the lowering of the dyeing temperature and giving an excellent dyed fiber structure by including a disperse dye in a specific film. SOLUTION: This dye complex is produced by including (A) a disperse dye in (B) a bimolecular film formed from an amphipathic compound. Preferably, the mixing ratio of the component A to the component B is 0.2-5 in molar ratio and the carbon number of the alkyl chain of the component B is 8-14. The treating liquid containing the objective complex is produced e.g. by dissolving the component A and the component B (e.g. a dialkyl dimethyl ammonium salt) in an organic solvent, evaporating the solvent, adding a polar solvent and shaking the mixture.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject structure such as a woolen (blend spun) woven fabric, etc., rapidly undergoing the weight-reduction treatment at a high weight reduction ratio and having an extremely soft touch feeling by carrying out the weight-reduction treatment of a fiber structure containing animal hairy fibers with a weight-reduction treating agent containing a proteolytic enzyme and a reducing agent. SOLUTION: The weight-reduction treatment of a fiber structure containing animal hairy fibers such as wool is carried out with a weight-reduction treating agent containing (A) a proteolytic enzyme (papain, trypsin, a proteolytic enzyme derived from Bacillus subtilis, etc.) and (B) a reducing agent (sodium sulfite, sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate, etc.). Thereby, the hydrolytic rate of the proteolytic enzyme can remarkably be raised while minimizing the deterioration in strength of the animal hairy fibers.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber structure excellent both in moisture absorption and shrink proof properties from a cellulose fiber on which a polymerization process with a hydrophilic vinyl-based monomer and a cross-linking treatment are performed, and a polyester fiber. SOLUTION: This cellulose fiber structure is obtained by impregnating an aqueous solution of pH 6-12 containing 10-30wt.% concentration of a hydrophilic vinyl-based monomer such as 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid (salt) and 1-5wt.% polymerization initiator such as ammonium persulfate based on the monomer to a fiber structure such as a half tricot consisting of a mixed spun fiber of a polyester with a cotton, heat-treating at 80-200 deg.C to perform a polymerization process at 2-10wt.% monomer reaction ratio. Before, after or simultaneously to the polymerization process, a cross- linking treatment of the cellulose fiber is conducted by imparting a cellulose reactive- type resin liquid and heat treat or heat treated by exposing to a formaldehyde vapor in the presence of a catalyst so as to obtain a structure having a moisture absorbing property in which ΔMR of the difference of a moisture absorption at temperature of 30 deg.C and at relative humidity of 90%, and the moisture absorption at 20 deg.C and at relative humidity of 65% satisfies the relationship of 0.04×(100-x)

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a fire-retardant polyester fiber having highly persistent fire retardancy and free from generation of toxic gas in combustion by applying a specific phosphazene compound to a polyester fiber. CONSTITUTION: A dispersion of a phosphazene compound is produced by mixing a water-insoluble phosphazene expressed by formula I or formula II (X1 to X4 and Y1 ) to Y4 are each amino or phenoxy) and having a total phenoxy group number of >=2 such as tetraphenoxydiaminocyclotriphosphazene with carboxymethyl cellulose, water and a dispersing agent consisting of a condensation product of a naphthalenesulfonic acid and formaldehyde. A polyester fiber is immersed in the dispersion and subjected to exhaustion treatment at >=100 deg.C or the polyester fiber is padded in the liquid dispersion and the treated fiber is drained, dried and heat-treated at >=150 deg.C to obtain a fire-retardant polyester fiber.
