    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light and readily-treated excellent waterproof cloth excellent in flame resistance, sewing properties such as high frequency welder adhesion, durability, antifouling properties or the like, and hardly generating a harmful gas containing a halogen element. SOLUTION: This waterproof cloth is a fiber structure obtained by coating a fiber textile with a resin mixture comprising a thermoplastic resin and at least one kind of a flame resistant compound selected from a condensed phosphoric acid ester and an aromatic diphosphate, and satisfies the following whole properties (1) to (5):(1) having total amount of the attached resin mixture, regulated so that the amount attached to the front face may be >=2 times as much as that attached to the back face; (2) having >=1,000 mmH2 O water resistance measured based on JIS L1096; (3) having >=5 kg/3 cm adhesive strength at the sewn part measured based on JIS K6854; (4) having flame resistance classified as rating 2 of the flammability test based on JIS A1322; (5) having flame resistance satisfying the requirement of JIS L1092.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester fibrous structure capable of simultaneously satisfying high levels of weather resistance and flame retardance without deteriorating physical and chemical characteristics essential to a polyester fiber by adsorbing a specific ultraviolet light absorber and a specified flame retardant thereon. SOLUTION: This polyester fibrous structure is obtained by respectively adsorbing >=0.2% at least one ultraviolet light absorber represented by formula I (R is H or a lower alkyl; R1 and R2 are each a lower alkyl), formulae II and III (R is a lower alkylene) and having >=10% sublimation weight loss at 220 deg.C and >=0.4% at least one flame retardant represented by formula IV, formula V [R1 and R2 are each a lower alkyl; R3 and R4 are each H or a lower alkyl; Y is CH2 , C(CH3 )2 , S, SO2 , O or CO-N=N; (m) is an integer of 0-4], formula VI, etc., on a spun-dyed polyester textile fabric and imparting weather resistance and flame retardance thereto.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product which maintains the various properties of a thermoplastic resin and is useful as a film material which satisfies the wrinkleproof and stainproof properties of a skin simultaneously, especially a film material for a tent, a car top, a roof, an exterior decoration, and an agricultural house. SOLUTION: In a film material in which a thermoplastic resin is arranged on both sides of a fiber cloth, the resin surface hardness of a surface layer which is measured by the trigonal pyramid presser 115 deg. of Shimazu Dynamic Ultrafine Hardness Meter DUH-2301 Model of Shimazu Seisakusho is 0.5 or more and that of the back layer is 0.1-0.3. A film material in which a thermoplastic resin skin (B) is joined to the surface layer of a sheet (A) in which a thermoplastic resin composed of a surface layer and a back layer is laminated on a fiber cloth.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain the subject fibers having durable flame retardancy and water repellency, suitable as a material for land nets, by imparting polyester fibers with a mixed composition comprising an amidophosphazene compound and a functional chemical such as a water repellent followed by heat treatment. CONSTITUTION: Polyester fibers or flame-retardant polyester fibers copolymerized or blended with a flame retardant is imparted with 0.5-5wt.%, based on the fibers, of a polymer of an amidophosphazene compound of the formula (m is 3-6), or a composition prepared by mixing >=5wt.% of the amidophosphazene compound with at least one kind of functional chemical selected from weathering agents, antioxidants, antifouling agents, antimicrobial agents, mildewproofing agents, antistatic agents and colorants on unit pt.wt. solid basis. The resultant fibers are heat-treated at >=100 deg.C (pref. >=150 deg.C) to obtain the objective flame- retardant polyester fibers passing the flame retardancy test (JIS L-1091) and having water repellency performance of 100 points in initial value and >=70 points after washing 10 times when the functional chemical is a water repellent.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a polyolefin sheet having excellent interlaminar peeling strength and abrasion resistance, i.e., excellent coating film durability without deteriorating the characteristic properties and feeling of an olefin resin sheet and to provide a process for stably producing the sheet. CONSTITUTION:The polyolefin sheet is a laminated sheet having a resin coating film laminated to at least one surface of an olefin elastomer coating film and has an interlaminar peeling strength of >=150g/inch. The polyolefin sheet can be produced by treating a surface of an olefin elastomer coating film by discharge treatment, ultraviolet treatment, ozone treatment or two or more kinds of the above treatments and applying a resin to the treated surface.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an antistatic pile sheet capable of providing good electric conductivity and excellent in resistance to permanent set in fatigue without falling off piles by applying a specific electrically conductive resin having a specific viscosity to pile ridge parts on the back surface of pile fabric and fixing the piles. CONSTITUTION:The antistatic pile sheet excellent in erect properties with hardly any permanent set in fatigue without falling off piles is obtained by using an electrically conductive resin liquid prepared by mixing carbon black in an acrylic resin, a urethane-based resin, etc., and having 200-2000cps viscosity measured with a Brookfield type viscometer in pile ridge parts on the back surface of a pile fabric composed of preferably bulked multifilament yarn as pile yarn, thereby sufficiently coating the pile fabric with good permeability and firmly fixing the piles in the fabric and then backing the pile fabric with a backing material (e.g. polyolefinic resin).
