Abstract:
In an article delivery system, articles each having sorting information are handled, and the articles are arranged in proper delivery order through a plurality of arrangement paths so as to help the delivery of the articles. This system includes a sorting information procuring device for procuring the sorting information of each article, an article information storage device which is connected to the sorting information procuring device, and collects and stores the sorting information, a database for providing the order of arrangement of the sorting information, an information processing device for arranging the sorting information in the order, provided by the database, while including information for distinguishing the arrangement paths from each other, and delivery order forming device having a communication device for transmitting the sorting information arranged by the information processing device.
Abstract:
In a rendering device 10, ROM 4 stores a vehicle model. A rudder angle sensor 3 detects a rudder angle of the vehicle, and based thereon, CPU 6 calculates an estimated path for the vehicle. The CPU 6 receives captured images from cameras 21 to 2N. The CPU 6 generates a display image based on those captured images, the estimated path, and the vehicle model. This display image includes the vehicle model arranged on the estimated path, and displayed on a display device 8 placed in the vehicle. In this manner, the display image generated by the rendering device 10 is indicative and helpful for a driver of the vehicle to exactly figure out a parking space available for the vehicle.
Abstract:
Objects of the invention are to enable different kinds of communication apparatus having interfaces of different input/output methods and different signal voltages to be connected to the same interface; to achieve communication processing appropriate to the automatically detected attribute of the communication apparatus; to explicitly indicate optimum communication means; and to enable communications to be automatically resumed even if the communication apparatus is replaced in the middle of communication. The communication apparatus comprises: means for sending the connected state of the communication apparatus and an attribute of the communication apparatus which connected to information terminal apparatus; a signal line for sending a connection notification to the information terminal apparatus; and a signal input section and a signal output section for transferring control signals and data to and from the information terminal apparatus.
Abstract:
A printed circuit board is provided with a plurality of insulator layers and a plurality of conductor layers, and an outermost conductor layer has a plurality of foot patterns in outer and inner rows for mounting a BGA component and signal patterns. The width of at least a part of the signal pattern extending from the foot pattern in the outer row is greater than the width of the signal pattern extending from the foot pattern in the inner row. The printed circuit board further includes a protection layer for covering the signal patterns on the outermost conductor layer, and the protection layer has openings each for permitting the foot pattern to be exposed. At least a portion of the signal pattern appearing in the opening is widened.
Abstract:
A plurality of antennas are disposed in a predetermined area and wherein size, configuration and mounting condition of the antennas are set so that their directivities formed by interference therebetween are most desirable.
Abstract:
An optical-signal/electric-signal converting device communications system for a communications system that establishes communications using electric and optical signals. The converting device converts an electric transmission signal into an optical transmission signal and an optical transmission signal into an electric transmission signal. The converting device includes an electric signal receiving circuit for receiving the electric transmission signal transmitted from the host computer of the communications system through an electric transmission line, and a modulating circuit for modulating the electric signal sent from the electric signal receiving circuit into a pulse signal having pulses of a smaller width. The converting device also includes an optical signal receiving circuit for receiving the optical transmission signal from the optical transmission line of the system and converting the received signal into an electric signal using a light-receiving element, and a demodulation circuit for demodulating the electric signal received from the optical signal receiving circuit into a pulse signal having pulses of a larger width.
Abstract:
A recording disk apparatus comprises a clearance between a shaft and a thrust bearing portion tapered in a circumferential direction, a lubricant communication groove of a bearing covered by the shaft so that a lubricant on a radial bearing portion communicates with the lubricant on the thrust bearing portion through the lubricant communication groove, a lubricant circulating path which extends axially from the thrust bearing portion to the radial bearing portion to prevent the lubricant flowing out of the thrust bearing portion from returning directly to the thrust bearing portion without passing the radial bearing portion, and/or a clearance between a slide bearing and a magnetic fluid seal device substantially filled with a magnetic fluid lubricant.
Abstract:
An optical communications device is disclosed which is equipped with a transmission unit adapted to send binary-coded electrical pulse signals to another optical communications device in the form of optical pulse signals. The transmission unit includes a modulator for producing an electrical pulse signal of a narrow pulse width only at each of rising and falling edges in the binary-coded electrical pulse signals and an electro-optic converter for converting the electrical pulse signal of a narrow pulse width into an optical pulse signal of a narrow pulse signal. As an alternative, the transmission unit includes a modulator which produces an electrical pulse signal of a narrow pulse width for each bit in the binary-coded electrical pulse signals only when it is at a high level and an electro-optic converter which converts the electrical pulse signal of a narrow pulse width into an optical pulse signal of a narrow pulse width.
Abstract:
In a sheet-shaped solar module mounting structure, rail members include locking members to which the end portions of sheet-shaped solar batteries are locked, so that, in mounting the sheet-shaped solar batteries to a roof bed, it is unnecessary to nail the solar batteries to the roof bed with screws or the like.
