    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a medley playing without providing musical sound generating devices in two systems by generating the playing sound of a bridge part at the time of the continuous playing of karaoke musics and setting a main musical sound generating means in playing the playing sound of the bridge part to a state suited to the playing of a latter music. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a bridge musical sound generating means (sound source for bridge 19b) for playing a bridge pattern in addition to a main musical sound generating means (a maing sound source 19a, a voice data processing part 20, an effect sound DSP 21a or the like) for playing karaoke musics. This sound source for bridge 19b is an inexpensive sound source capable of simultaneously generating musical sounds of the order of 16 tones with a simple parameter setting. Moreover, the sound source 19b incorporates effect circuits imparting simple reverberation effects with respect to the generated musical sounds. Then, a bridge pattern connecting a preceding music and the latter music smoothly is inserted between these musics and whilst the bridge pattern is played by the sound source device for bridge 19b, parameter settings of the main sound source device 19a and the effect sound DSP 21a are performed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice signal processing device that can convert a singing voice signal of a singer to that of an original singer. SOLUTION: A pitch/sound volume extracting part 31 extracts pitch (frequency) data and sound volume data from a singing voice signal of a singer. An impulse generation part 32 generates a pulse train with an interval based on the pitch data. The pulse train has a wide frequency spectrum near a white noise, but a signal of a tone of an original singer is made by cutting this with formant of an original singer in a filter 33. This formant data is stored as sequence data with music data for KARAOKE playing, read out in parallel with KARAOKE playing, and written in a formant data buffer 36. A signal of a tone of an original singer can be made quite the same as that of a song of a singer by gain-controlling the signal of timre of an original singer with the sound volume data.

Next, when start of repeat musical performance is indicated, sound source parameters of a repeat start point are transferred to a sound source 5 from the sound source parameter buffer 4a, while a repeat start address is read out from the repeat start address buffer 3a, and musical data is successively sent to the sound source 5 from the address.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the tempo of KARAOKE (orchestration without lyrics) follow the singing speed of a singer by judging the singing speed based on melody information supplied by being attached to the playing information of the KARAOKE and the extracted pitch of singing voice and controlling the tempo of playing corresponding to the judged result. SOLUTION: When the singing voice of the singer is inputted from a microphone M, a pitch extraction part 1 extracts the pitch and a voice type recognition part 2 tracks a pitch extracted value for a prescribed period and recognizes whether the pattern of the pitch change of the singing voice is a rising type or a lowering type. A singing speed judgement part 3 compares the pitch specified by the data of a guiding melody and the extracted pitch of the singing voice and judges the singing speed based on the recognized result of the pattern of the guiding melody, the recognized result of the pattern of the singing voice and a pitch compared result. A tempo control part 4 sums up the diagnosed result of the singing speed judgement part 3 in a fixed cycle and controls the tempo to be specified to a sequencer 5 corresponding to the summed-up result.

A control information generation part 302 detects singing parts specified with the respective switches and selects an additional part which do not overlap with them. When melody data are reproduced from a storage medium together with music, the control information generation part 302 inputs the melody data corresponding to the additional part, and finds and sends a pitch shift quantity needed to produce the chorous sound of the additional part to a DSP 10. The DSP 10 shifts the pitches of the respective vocal signals obtained through the microphones M1 and M2 according to the sad pitch shift quantity, and the signals obtained from pitch shifters 103 and 203 are added to the vocal signals.
