Abstract:
A method for stabilizing, in correctness, the transverse cross section of the end of an elongate structural beam during weld attachment to that end of a beam-end mounting component. This method includes the steps of (a) configurationally correcting and capturing, utilizing spring-biasing stabilizing action, the end transverse footprint of such a beam with an external structure to lock that footprint against subsequent configuration change, and (b), while performing that spring-biased, stabilized capturing step, weld-attaching the beam's end transverse footprint to the mentioned beam-end mounting component.
Abstract in simplified Chinese:激光加工设备系具备:加工头、用来加工板状工件之板状工件加工台、具有棒状工件把持部而用来加工棒状工件之棒状工件加工台、以及可移动地设有加工头之加工区域。板状工件加工台设置成可从加工区域的一侧往加工区域移动。棒状工件加工台设置成可从位于一侧的相反侧之加工区域另一侧往加工区域移动。依据上述激光加工设备,在切换板状工件的加工和棒状工件的加工时,只要让板状工件加工台和棒状工件加工台往加工区域移动或从加工区域退避即可,而能容易地进行切换作业。

A method of manufacturing a furcated composite post (1) comprising at least two strips (7, 8) that are joined together along their length in a furcated manner. The method comprises the steps of feeding one or more of the strips (7, 8) at a set rate to working rolls of a roll mill for profile rolling to a desired cross section/profile, feeding the strips (7, 8) at the same set rate to positioning rolls for holding the strips (7, 8) in a correct orientation for joining, and joining the strips together, preferably by welding the strips (7, 8) along their length.
Abstract:
A welding carriage has a frame that is adjustable in width and height and is guided by the sides of a workpiece. First and second wheel assemblies support the frame upon the workpiece, the first and second wheel assemblies forcibly engaging the sides of the workpiece for guiding the frame along a path substantially parallel thereto. The frame comprises two opposing lateral sides interconnected by a linkage therebetween. The linkage can be actuated to adjust a coarse width of the frame, dimensional variations being handles by biased guide wheels of the second wheel assembly. Each of the opposing lateral sides further has vertically adjustable leg posts for adjusting a vertical height of the frame.

Die Vorrichtung (3) hat eine Klemmvorrichtung (6) mit einem Anlagebereich (4) für ein erstes Werkstück. Eine Auflage (12) für ein zweites Werkstück ist mindestens annähernd rechtwinklig zur Ebene des Anlagebereichs (4) verstellbar. Die Klemmvorrichtung (6) weist ein gegen den Anlagebereich (4) bewegbares Klemmelement (7) auf und die Auflage (12) liegt an mindestens einem Führungsteil (13) an, der mindestens annähernd rechtwinklig zum Anlagebereich (4) orientiert ist. Diese Vorrichtung ist derart einfach aufgebaut, dass sie zu einem Werkstück getragen und dort angeklemmt werden kann, anstatt, dass das Werkstück auf eine stationäre Vorrichtung transportiert werden muss.
