Abstract: A swing arm (37) is pivoted to the pedal housing (29) of the bicycle frame and extends rearwardly from the seat post (27). The rear bicycle wheel (5) is carried by the rear end of the swing arm. A follower (41) is guided and is moveable along the seat post for up and down movement. A brace arm (39) interconnects the swing arm rear end and the follower and an elastic tension cord (42) biases the follower towards the pedal housing. The bicycle has also a front suspension. The front wheel carrying fork (59) of the bicycle is telescopic and upward movement of the front wheel causes elongation of an elastic tension cord. A stabilizer system is also provided whereby upward movement of the front wheel causes upward movement of the rear wheel and vice and versa. Finally, a damper prevents any up-and-down oscillation of the bicycle frame. This damper includes a collapsible, resilient chamber carried by the bicycle frame and a string attached to the chamber and to the swing arm in the rear suspension and to the lower telescopic fork part in the front suspension. Downward movement of the suspension is slowed down upon string tensioning and consequent collapse of the chamber and air expulsion through a chamber bleed hole.

The device has a single-piece, hardened steel outer frame, and a interstitial formed from urethane (rather than rubber) having a durometer reading of approximately 80. Unlike the device of the Parent Application, the urethane interstitial element is not bonded to the outer frame element so that the urethane interstitial element can be slid out of the outer frame and replaced, if desired. The interstitial element protrudes from the outer frame, and does not reach the full depth of the outer frame depth.

Abstract: A handlebar is supported by an upper bracket of a motorcycle through a handlebar holder. Abstract: A bicycle seat tube assembly and seat post can be arranged to reduce vibrations that originate at the bicycle wheel and are transmitted to the rider of the bicycle.
