Water buoys sense water characteristics and wirelessly transfer the water characteristics for delivery to a computer system. The computer system receives the water characteristics wirelessly transferred by the water buoys. The computer system receives a location and a user water condition preference transferred by a user communication device. The computer system processes the water characteristics, the location, and the user water condition preference, and in response, generates and transfers water condition information for the location for delivery to the user communication device.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for monitoring windlass rotation are provided to determine the real time rate and length of rode release when anchoring a boat. The rotation can be monitored in real time using directional sound and/or electromagnetic radiation receivers and/or transmitter in a module attached to the windlass. Another windlass module can monitor windlass rotation using micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) components such as accelerometers, magnetometers, gyroscopes, and/or inertial measurement units (IMU) to sense motion and/or position.
Abstract:
A method for the use in offshore crew transfer when transferring a person between a crew transfer vessel and a structure or vice versa where a prediction system for predicting vessel bow motion in response to sea waves detected by said wave detection device is used. An indicator is adapted to indicate a prediction of vessel bow motion below a first bow motion threshold value within a first predetermined time period based on said prediction system. The transfer of the person only takes place when said vessel bow motion is indicated to be below the first vessel bow motion threshold value within the first predetermined time period.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention provide a water safety device used to increase participant visibility by passing water craft. The device is worn by the participant on his or her wrist and activated upon need at which time a flag is uncoiled and extended above the water. Upon conclusion of the need for visibility, the flag is replaced around the participant's wrist and ready for the next use.

The mounting device can mount flag poles, and with an adapter, mobile electronic devices or other articles.

본 고안은 스크류 방식의 선박용 레이더 포스트의 승강장치에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 원통의 아웃포스트 내측에는 선박용 레이더가 상부에 고정설치된 원통의 인포스트가 설치되고, 인포스트의 내측에는 스크류 샤프트가 수직설치되며, 스크류 샤프트의 외면에는 스크류 너트가 내설된 다수개의 고정블럭이 삽입설치되어, 상기 스크류 샤프트를 수동, 전동 및 공압으로 회전시킴으로 인포스트가 승하강되는 것으로, 내부구조가 간단하여 설치 및 유지보수가 용이하고, 원통으로 형성되어 바람의 영향을 적게 받아 보다 안전하게 레이더를 지지할 수 있는 선박용 레이더 포스트의 승강장치에 관한 것이다. 본 고안에 따르면 관체의 아웃포스트와, 상부에 레이더가 설치되어 상기 아웃포스트의 내측에서 승하강하는 인포스트로 구성된 레이더 포스트의 승강장치에 있어서, 상기 인포스트의 내측에는 스크류 너트가 설치된 고정블럭이 다수개 고정설치되고, 승강수단이 결합되는 감속기에 체결된 스크류 샤프트가 상기 스크류 너트에 삽입되어 스크류 샤프트의 회전으로 인포스트가 승하강되게 구성됨을 특징으로 한 선박용 레이더 포스트의 승강장치가 제공된다.
