Abstract:
The present invention relates to a distress/safety device for a small watercraft (10). Specifically, the present invention relates to a distress signal that is given when a rider (12) is no longer present on the watercraft (10). The distress signal is provided by a light (44), by an audible signal, or by an electronic transmission to a receiver. The distress/safety device is in the form of a circuit which remains open as long as a key (52) is inserted in the alarm trigger slot (46) on the watercraft (10). The key is attached by lanyard or cable to an individual driver or passenger of the watercraft (10). Should the individual be displaced from the watercraft (10), the lanyard pulls the key (52) free from the kill switch (40) or alarm trigger slot (46) closing the circuit and triggering the alarm. Alternatively, the kill switch (40) is activated when the rider is displaced from the watercraft (10), thus activating the alarm system which is integral with the ignition. The types of distress alarms may be combined so that more than one type is given in response to a fallen rider.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a system for locating a person having fallen overboard. Said system is designed for participants in a race on the open sea. The inventive system is in the form of a clothing article worn by said person having fallen overboard and a receiver module (4) on board the boat. The clothing article comprises a floater forming an upwards-oriented column (2) when inflated. Additionally, there is provided in the clothing article, a radio transmitter (15) associated with the receiver module (4) and a GPS receiver (11) for determining the position of said person overboard. The GPS receiver (11) and the radio transmitter (15) are arranged in the free end of the column. The GPs position of the person overboard is transmitted to the receiver module (4) by the radio transmitter (15).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a monitoring system for boats, comprising a central unit (2) arranged on the boat which is equipped to send wireless information concerning events and conditions on the boat and/or components arranged on the boat, and to receive wireless instructions to control the components arranged on the boat; a portable manoeuvre unit (12) which is equipped to send wireless instructions to the central unit (2) arranged on the boat. The portable manoeuvre unit (12) is equipped to receive wireless information from the central unit (2).
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the communications field and disclose a data transmission device, method, and system, so as to better improve an average downlink throughput of UE. A specific solution is: A determining unit determines a downlink frequency shift according to a received uplink signal sent by a terminal device, and determines a second transmit frequency according to the downlink frequency shift and a first transmit frequency; and a sending unit sends a downlink signal to the terminal device according to the second transmit frequency determined by the determining unit, so that the terminal device receives the downlink signal according to a receive frequency corresponding to the first transmit frequency, where the downlink signal includes at least one of a DMRS or downlink data. The present invention is applied in a data transmission process.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a man-portable and autonomous signal-emitting device, in particular for a man in sea comprising a container (10) provided with means (12) for fixing to a carrier, an insert (14) provided with at least one function for the power supply thereof (16), means (18) for actuating said insert and removable mechanical means (20) for initiating said actuating means (18).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a safety device (1) for a motor-driven boat with the object of preventing that the boat leaves a person that falls overboard. The safety device (1) is intended to be attached at the boat and comprises a lifeline (5) that at one end thereof is attached to the boat such that it can be pulled out and that at the other end thereof can be connected to a person on the boat. The boat is equipped with a motor (M) to propel the boat and the lifeline (5) is functionally connected to the motor (M) in order to affect the motor (M), at a predetermined position of the lifeline (5), so that the motor (M) is shut off and/or disengaged. The invention also relates to a boat provided with safety device (1).
