    Abstract: A media playback system comprising a transmitter configured to transmit an indication of a media item; a plurality of drones; a controller configured to control the spatial configuration of the drones and, in response to receiving the indication of a media item control the drones to adopt a predefined 3D spatial configuration; a mobile device comprising a camera and a media playback unit, wherein the camera is capable of capturing an image of the plurality of drones; a processor configured to analyse the captured image to determine the media item that corresponds to the predefined 3D spatial configuration; and wherein the media playback unit is configured to play the determined media item.

    Abstract: A system for displaying an omnidirectional light show for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is disclosed herein. The system comprises an LED matrix comprising a plurality of LEDs distributed on the outer surface area of a body of the UAV. A Ground Control Station (GCS) is communicatively coupled to the UAV and is configured to transmit at least one flight program and at least one light program, wherein the at least one flight program and the at least one light program are synchronized in time and events. A LED light control unit is configured on the UAV and is communicatively coupled to the GCS for receiving instructions from the GCS to control a plurality of LED parameters in accordance with the at least one flight program and the at least one light program.

    Abstract: An aircraft assistance method for reducing drag on the aircraft. The method includes flying an autonomous aircraft near the aircraft. An optimal position where vortices created by the autonomous aircraft or the aircraft interact with the other aircraft and/or autonomous aircraft to reduce drag and/or increase lift on the aircraft is determined. The autonomous aircraft is positioned in the optimal position. The method may include a landing assistance system with at least one autonomous aircraft configured to provide the aircraft with information regarding a desired position relative to a runway. The at least one autonomous aircraft may be configured to communicate with the aircraft through a processor and/or a display in the aircraft. The autonomous aircraft may be subject to a drone control system for a plurality of drones configured to position the plurality of drones in a formation.

    Abstract: A fleet operation system for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is provided. The UAV according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a plurality of UAVs configured to fly in a fleet according to a determined task plan; and a ground control device for a fleet operation of the plurality of UAVs. The ground control device includes a first communication unit configured to receive flight information comprising a locations from the plurality of UAVs and transmit the task plan and satellite correction information to each of the plurality of UAVs; a second communication unit configured to transmit the satellite correction information to each of the plurality of UAVs; and a central processing unit configured to generate and transmit the task plan of each of the plurality of UAVs to each of the plurality of UAVs through the first communication unit.
