Abstract: Systems and methods for real time feedback and for updating welding instructions for a welding robot in real time is described herein. The data of a workspace that includes a part to be welded can be received via at least one sensor. This data can be transformed into a point cloud data representing a three-dimensional surface of the part. A desired state indicative of a desired position of at least a portion of the welding robot with respect to the part can be identified. An estimated state indicative of an estimated position of at least the portion of the welding robot with respect to the part can be compared to the desired state. The welding instructions can be updated based on the comparison.

Abstract: A laminated block correctness determining method determines whether a laminated block to be laminated is a correct laminated block when manufacturing a laminated iron core by laminating laminated blocks. Orientation identification portions are respectively disposed on opposite end surfaces of each of the laminated blocks in an axial direction. The laminated block correctness determining method includes acquiring, with an imaging device, a captured image of the laminated block by capturing one end surface of the laminated block in the axial direction. The laminated block correctness determining method further includes determining whether the orientation of the laminated block is correct by comparing the orientation identification portion in a registered image with the orientation identification portion in the captured image.

Abstract: A flexible and intuitive system is disclosed, and is disposed to be coupled to at least one camera, at least one robotic arm and a host electronic device of an AVI system. During a normal operation of the system, a configuration parameter setting of the AVI system can be completed after at least one time of robotic arm setting operation and at least one time of camera setting operation are conducted. After that, a plurality of article images acquired from a specific article by the camera are upload to a remote electronic device by the system, such that the remote electronic device utilizes the article images to update (re-train) a defect recognition model. Consequently, after the system integrates the defect recognition model into a defect recognition program that is installed in the host electronic device, the AVI system is hence configured for conducting an appearance inspection of the article.

Abstract: A line replaceable unit (LRU) communications system is provided and includes an emitter, a hand-held device including a camera and a device processor and a control unit of one or more pieces of equipment. The control unit includes a housing on which the emitter is disposed and an LRU processor. The LRU processor is configured to identify the hand-held device and a maximum frame rate of the camera, to ascertain a status of the one or more pieces of equipment, to control the emitter to emit radiation in a sequence defined in accordance with the status and to limit a rate at which the radiation is emitted in the sequence by the maximum frame rate of the camera. The camera is configured to capture the radiation and the device processor is configured to translate the sequence into interpretable serial data for use in determining the status.
