A method for editing text broadcasting data, a system therefor, and a broadcasting terminal therefor are provided to allow a user to easily sense text broadcasting data of a specific sentence by allowing a transmission side to transmit PAD(Program Associated Data) including text editing information of the text broadcasting data and allowing a reception side to edit and display the text broadcasting data on the basis of the text editing information. A broadcasting terminal(420) receives PAD including text editing information of text broadcasting data(S403). The broadcasting terminal(420) analyzes the text editing information(S404). The broadcasting terminal(420) edits the text broadcasting data on the basis of the analyzed text editing information(S405). The broadcasting terminal(420) displays the edited text broadcasting data(S406).

본 발명은 디지털 위성 방송 수신기에서 메모리 할당 효율을 증가시키는 방법에 관한 것이다. 즉, 본 발명에서는 디지털 위성 방송 수신기에서 PSI, PSIP 등과 같은 일정한 크기의 데이터에 대한 반복적인 데이터 처리시 매번 시스템 메모리에 대한 할당 및 해제를 반복하는 것이 아니라, OS로부터 할당받은 시스템 메모리를 데이터 처리를 위해 사용한 다음 사용자 관리 영역내 스택자료구조상에 해당 메모리의 포인터를 저장시켜 놓은 후, 다음번 PSI, PSIP 등의 데이터 처리시 사용자 관리 영역내 재활용 가능한 메모리를 이용하여 처리하도록 함으로써, 메모리 사용의 효율을 증가시킬 수 있게 된다.

PURPOSE: A multi-channel estimation device and an estimation method thereof are provided to accurately estimate a channel from a DTV(Digital TeleVision) broadcasting center to a digital broadcasting reception device. CONSTITUTION: A fourier transform unit(320) converts a first PN(Pseudo random Noise) sequence into a frequency area. A signal extraction unit(330) extracts signals from the first PN sequence which is converted into the frequency area. A correlation unit(341) generates a second PN sequence. The correlation unit generates a correlation coefficient by multiplying the second PN sequence by the extracted first PN sequence in the frequency area. A channel estimation unit(370) estimates a channel from a digital TV broadcasting based on the generated correlation coefficient. PURPOSE: Trans-receiving method and apparatus of a data stream in a digital broadcasting system are provided to reduce the power consumption amount for transmitting and receiving the data stream. CONSTITUTION: A trans-receiving method of a data stream in a digital broadcasting system comprises the following steps: setting a first signaling information field in the large value by the frequency diversity for offering strength to the first signaling information field; and setting a second signaling information field to accept the extra capability if necessary. The second signaling information field is less strong than the first signaling information field when the size of a second field is smaller than a first field.

PURPOSE: A content searching method for searching for a program of the same identifier as a selected program is provided to select one program to be recorded instead of a selected program through an input device. CONSTITUTION: An input module(903) receives program information which is selected by an identifier. A processing module(901) searches for information related to a program through a first source and a second source. The processing module searches for the program corresponding to the selected program. The first source includes broadcasting stream.

PURPOSE: A PVR control method of a broadcasting receiver and the broadcasting receiver are provided to record a receiving broadcasting as not allowing a multimedia reproducing mode from getting out during multimedia file reproduction. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting receiver reproduces a multimedia file. The broadcasting receiver receives a digital broadcasting recording command during outputting a multimedia file(S2010). The broadcasting receiver extracts a thumbnail image by broadcasting channel and program information(S2020). The broadcasting receiver generates a recording channel list. PURPOSE: A method and system for providing broadcasting service are provided to efficiently renew a table for guiding program under DVB-SI(Digital Video Broadcasting-Service Information) environment. CONSTITUTION: A programming information storing unit(404) stores programming information of broadcasting program. A table generating unit(406) generates the table for program guide service. The program guide service contains reference version information to preset reference channel and program information. When the program information changes, the table generating unit generates renewed reference version information.
Abstract:
A method for editing and changing a channel in a broadcasting signal receiver is provided to change the channel up and down according to kinds of broadcasting services. A control unit extracts channel information of a plurality of broadcasting services included in a received broadcasting signal(S300-S308). The control unit classifies and edits service types of the broadcasting services by using the extracted channel information(S312). The control unit generates a channel API(Application Program Interface) according to the edited service type(S314).

본 발명은 디지털 방송 시스템에서의 데이터 서비스 방법에 관한 것으로, 적어도 하나 이상의 애플리케이션에 관련된 정보를 AIT에 부가하여 임의의 시청자에게 전송하는 단계와, 시청자 요청시 전송된 AIT에서 애플리케이션 관련 정보를 추출하여 시청자에게 디스플레이하는 단계와, 임의의 애플리케이션이 선택되면 선택된 애플리케이션을 방송국으로부터 수신하는 단계를 포함한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 실제 애플리케이션을 수신하지 않은 상태에서도 어떤 종류의 애플리케이션이 서비스되고 있는지 확인할 수 있기 때문에 시청자 선호도에 맞는 애플리케이션의 수신이 가능하다. 결국, 디지털 방송 환경에서 시청자 만족도를 높이는 효과가 있다.

본 발명은 각종의 디지탈 방송을 수신하여 재생하는 디지탈방송 수신기로서, 특정 레벨의 DC 전원과 AC 전원을 모두 수용할 수 있고 추가로 라디오 방송을 수신하여 출력할 수 있어 레저용으로 특히 차량 등에 임의로 설치하기에 적합할 뿐만 아니라 가정에서 거치형으로서 사용하기에도 적합한 다목적 디지탈방송 수신기에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 다목적 디지탈방송 수신기에 따르면 레저용으로 사용하기에도 적합하고 거치형으로 사용하기에도 적합하며, 간단한 하드웨어를 통해 라디오 방송을 추가로 지원함으로써 디지탈방송이 전달되지 않는 곳에서도 필요한 정보를 제공받을 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
