Abstract: The present invention relates to a spray can and a pressure releasing structure thereof, in which the pressure in the spray can can be easily and quickly released. A spray can 200 comprises a sealed can body 14 for holding a compressed fluid such as cosmetics, paints, or propane gas, a spout path 16 for leading the fluid in the sealed can body 14 to the outside, an opening/closing means 18 for opening and closing the spout path 16 , and an open-state maintaining means 202 for maintaining the spout path 16 in its open state.

Abstract: The present invention provides a heating apparatus for effectively heating a gas container, and more particularly a liquified gas filled in the gas container. The heating apparatus comprises a mounting base having a first space and a second space, each formed in its inside, and an air fan heater for supplying heated air to the first space of said mounting base. In said mounting base, a first through hole communicating with said first space and second through holes communicating with said second space are formed inside of a mounting area, and third through holes communicating with said second space are formed outside of said mounting area. When a gas container is mounted on the mounting base, the heated air is blasted from said first space onto the bottom face of said gas container through said first through hole, whereby heat is effectively transmitted from the bottom face of the gas container to the liquified gas contents of the gas container.

Abstract: A gas capsule comprises a hollow body portion ( 1 ) and a cap ( 2 ) including a stem ( 3 ) providing a filling orifice ( 3 A). Prior to assembly of the body portion ( 1 ) and the cap ( 2 ) a stopper member ( 4 ) is inserted loosely within the capsule. During filling of the capsule with gas, the stopper member ( 4 ) is located within the body of the capsule and, prior to release of the gas pressure at the orifice ( 3 A) of the capsule, the stopper member is moved to obstruct the path of gas from the capsule, for example by inverting the capsule so that the stopper member falis under gravity into a position between the body of the capsule ( 1 ) and the filling orifice ( 3 A). The gas pressure is then released so that the stopper member ( 4 ) is forced into the stem ( 3 ) under the pressure of the gas to form a gas tight seal closing the orifice ( 3 A). The orifice ( 3 A) may then be welded to form a permanent closure.

Abstract: A valve apparatus especially well-suited for use in gaseous oxygen delivery systems. A valve apparatus is provided that substantially reduces the risk of fire in high-pressure oxygen systems. The apparatus is particularly well-suited for use as a plug valve on ordinary cylinder containers, but may be beneficially used in any pressurized gas system, particularly oxygen systems such as those encountered in many industrial facilities. The wetted portion of the valve is isolated from threaded portions to prevent particulate contamination of the gas stream. The valve seat is located to protect it from direct impact of high-velocity gas streams. The inventive valve, and its associated inventive check-filter and excess-flow prevention features, reduces the potential for hazardous combustion at valve points within oxygen delivery systems.
