Abstract: The invention relates to an oil type lubricant, which is applied to a die to be used in high-pressure die casting, gravity die casting, low-pressure die casting and forging and can prevent soldering, particularly at high temperature parts and under a heavy load, to a spray method of applying the oil type lubricant and a spray apparatus for applying the oil type lubricant. The powder-containing oil type lubricant for die contains 60 to 99% by mass of an oil type lubricant consisting of oil, 0.3 to 30% by mass of a solubilizing agent, 0.3 to 15% by mass of an inorganic powder and 7.5% by mass or less of water, the lubricant being electrostatically applied to a die. The electrostatic spray method includes applying the powder-containing oil type lubricant to a die by electrostatic spraying. The electrostatic spray apparatus includes a static electricity imparting device that imparts static electricity to the powder-containing oil type lubricant and an electrostatic spray gun installed on a multi-axle robot.

Abstract: Dry film lubricant coatings are provided by using a silicone resin binder, either as an aqueous emulsion or in a solvent-based system, to fix an alkaline earth metal fluoride to a substrate. The compositions used to apply the coatings may also include relatively minor amounts of xylene, ammonium benzoate, a wetting agent, and/or a porosity-inducing agent-although none of those additives remains in the cured coating. Multi-layer dry film lubricant coatings are also disclosed, with the multi-layer coating having a basecoat layer as described above, and a topcoat layer made of a layer-lattice solid such as graphite or molybdenum disulfide, and a silicone resin, aluminum phosphate or an alkali metal silicate binder.

Abstract: The present invention provides an anti-seizure agent for hot steel working comprising: an inorganic component as a first component; sodium hydroxide as a second component; water-soluble resins and/or water-soluble surfactants as a third component; and water, wherein, to the mass of the sum of the first component, the second component, and the third component as 100 mass %, the anti-seizure agent contains: 96.5 mass % or more and 99.98 mass % or less of the first component; 0.01 mass % or more and 2. 0 mass % or less of the second component; and 0.01 mass % or more and 1.5 mass % or less of the third component, and the inorganic component is one or more selected from a group consisting of Al 2 O 3 , SiO 2 , CaO, B 2 O 3 , K 2 O, and Na 2 O. This anti-seizure agent for hot steel working exhibits excellent wettability and surface firm-adherability to the steel; moreover, the coating layer formed after application solidly adheres to the steel and does not come off in the environment of both cold and hot working.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust-preventive oil composition which can suppress occurrence of rust over a long period of time even without passing through a cleaning stage for removing the rust occurrence factors, in the case when rust occurrence factors are stuck to various parts after metal working such as a steel sheet, a bearing, a steel ball and a guide rail, and metal parts subjected to assembling with bare hands.SOLUTION: The rust-preventive oil composition contains both a nonionic surfactant having a hydrophilic-lipophilic index of 10 to 12 and at least one rust inhibitor, the content of the nonionic surfactant being 0.1 to 10 mass% on the basis of the total of the composition, and the rust inhibitor being selected from among sarcosine-type compound, sulfonate, ester, amine, carboxylic acid, fatty acid amine salt, carboxylate, paraffin wax, oxidized wax salt, alkyl-or alkenyl-succinic acid derivative, and boron compounds. Kinematic viscosity is 1 to 50 mm/s at 40°C.
