Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a high voltage insulation system for using in a high discharge electric field at temperatures not higher than the room temperature. SOLUTION: This is related to the high voltage insulation system appropriate for low temperatures, and further related to a coolant which is equipped with an insulator (2) of a solid material based on cellulose fabric (20). The insulator (2) of the solid material is preferably used by a form of cardboard, and saturated by a polymer resin (21). It has a high partial discharge early phase electric field of 77K, and further this coefficient of thermal expansion most appropriately agrees with that of a ceramic high temperature superconductor. The cardboard is capable of forming in a dry condition especially in order to produce a coil bobbin, and alternately jointed together with cotton fiber, and a laminated material of desired thickness is formed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce thermo-mechanical stress which occurs during cooling of a high-temperature super conducting element. SOLUTION: During cooling of the high-temperature super conducting element where an electric-conductive transition layer 3 of polymer composite material base is provided between a super conducting body 1 and an electric by-pass 2, a thermo-mechanical stress occurs at the transition layer. To reduce it and to prevent formation of crack, thermal expansion factor of the transition layer 3 is made smaller. This is done by adding a polymer composite material with an appropriate filler material 32 such as SiO2, Al2O3, or AlN.

Preferably, the invention is used for a switch device of high voltage or intermediate voltage, the specifications of the communication link in equipment and the complexity of commissioning can be considerably reduced and the quality of the equipment control system can be resultantly improved.

The vacuum switch 6 is integrated into a bushing 5 in the electrical cable 4 so that the heat insulation of the cryostat 1 is completely achieved by the vacuum.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with the precise distribution of coating material thickness by fixing a spray parameter to be set from a desired spray pattern to be attained by utilizing an artificial neural net work learning by using practically measured data. SOLUTION: A coating film is formed by the movement of a spray device in the horizontal or vertical direction and the distribution of the coating film thickness is measured. The profile curve of the distribution of the coating film thickness is shown is the form of 200 individually measured values and a variable to be inputted to the artificial neural net work is expressed by using the measured value. As the input parameter to the artificial neural net work, amplitude is used together with the Fourier analysis of the profile of the coating material thickness distribution, and the spray parameter is fixed from the desired spray pattern to be attained as the output parameter such as the quantity of a coating material, the directing-air quantity and high voltage.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mechanically and permanently connect an external stator ring and an internal stator ring, without the use of a bonding agent by mechanically bonding these rings by winding them with a strip. SOLUTION: Any of the external stator ring 4 and internal stator ring 5 is manufactured from a strip of the particular shape. A strip used to wind an external stator ring 4 is provided with wedge-type notches 4K at a constant interval. Each notch 4K in the layer is covered completely with a closed part when the strip is wound, which does not, result in formation of gap. Meanwhile, the internal stator ring 5 is manufactured with a strip providing tooth-shape using a similar method. The internal stator ring 5 is cooled, an external stator ring 4 is heated, and the internal stator ring 5 is pushed into the external stator ring 4. As a result, two stator rings 4 and 5 are connected permanently rigidly, when these are returned to the room temperature.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a current-limiting device capable of continuing to supply electric power to a load, even if a short circuit occurs. SOLUTION: In a current-limiting device based on a superconducting transformer 30, electric power can be supplied to a load 21 without interruption by providing an auxiliary winding 14 parallel to the superconducting primary winding 12 of the transformer 30. The auxiliary winding 14 carries an excess current if a short circuit occurs, thereby enabling the primary winding 12 heated by this current-limiting device to be cooled. The instant the short circuit is removed, the primary winding is made capable of carrying a rated current again without loss. The auxiliary winding 14 made of a normal conducting material has additional stray impedance.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the pressure amplitude of thermoacoustic vibration in a gas turbine combustion chamber by supplying liquid or gaseous mixing fuel via two fuel lines, and by adjusting the amount of supplied fuel for each fuel line via a fuel valve. SOLUTION: A premixing burner forms fuel lines 13 and 14 with an opening 15. The amount of fuel being supplied to the premixing burner via the fuel lines 13 and 14 is changed via one fuel valve for each. Therefore, the amount of fuel being supplied via the fuel line 13 is adjusted regardless of the adjustment of the amount of fuel being supplied via the fuel line 14. More specifically, when the maximum injection is made via the fuel line 13, the minimum injection is carried out via the fuel line 14, and gaseous or liquid fuel 16 is mixed with combustion air 7 via the opening 15.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a stator wire insulating member having a satisfactory dielectric characteristic and a heat characteristic, by setting the capacity ratio of a warp against a weft in a layer-like supporting body, and the weight ratio of micro mica against the layer-like supporting body in a mica band material to be not less than specified values which are separately decided. SOLUTION: A layer-like supporting body 4 is formed as an inorganic glass textile layer, by filling epoxy resin 8 in a space between adjacent glass threads. The capacity ratio of a warp 7a against a weft 7b is set to be larger than 2.5:1 or similar to it. The weight ratio of a mica paper layer constituted of fine mica against the layer-like supporting body 4 is set larger than 6:1 or similar to it so as to constitute a mica band material 11. Thus, the dielectric characteristic and the heat characteristic of the main insulating part of a stator wire can be improved.

In a composition type pressure spraying nozzle for a so formed type gas turbine burner, the second feed passage 12 is provided with at least two injection orifices 13 communicating with the outer chamber 5.
