    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a stator wire insulating member having a satisfactory dielectric characteristic and a heat characteristic, by setting the capacity ratio of a warp against a weft in a layer-like supporting body, and the weight ratio of micro mica against the layer-like supporting body in a mica band material to be not less than specified values which are separately decided. SOLUTION: A layer-like supporting body 4 is formed as an inorganic glass textile layer, by filling epoxy resin 8 in a space between adjacent glass threads. The capacity ratio of a warp 7a against a weft 7b is set to be larger than 2.5:1 or similar to it. The weight ratio of a mica paper layer constituted of fine mica against the layer-like supporting body 4 is set larger than 6:1 or similar to it so as to constitute a mica band material 11. Thus, the dielectric characteristic and the heat characteristic of the main insulating part of a stator wire can be improved.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding bar whose maximum electric field strength at an edge region is decreased, without making the thickness of an insulator large. SOLUTION: In a winding bar 10, which is for a high-voltage winding of an electric machine especially for a stator winding, has piled-up conductors 13 whose bundle has a rectangular cross section, and is surrounded by an insulator 14 around, an electric field strength improved at edges as a whole is achieved without changing the insulator thickness. This is performed by making a thickness d2 of the insulator 14 at an edge 15 of the winding bar 10 larger than the thickness d1 of the insulator 14 at a flat surface of the winding bar 10. In this case, it is preferable that a correcting process is performed for forming the edge regions.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the assembly of a conductor and form a supporting section having a high ridigity in such a structure that a mechanical creep to be generated may be minimum, by covering a bundle of glass fibers with a tightly woven glass woven cloth tube and then surrounding the glass woven fabric tube with a polymer layer and another tightly woven glass woven cloth tube. SOLUTION: A bundle of glass fibers 1 is covered with a tightly woven inside glass woven fabric tube 2. Outside the inside glass woven fabric tube 2, an airtight and liquidtight flexible polymer layer 3 is formed. Then, the polymer layer 3 is covered with a tightly woven outside glass woven fabric tube 4. The polymer layer 3 is formed by extrusion molding or lacquer finish so as to cover the inside glass woven fabric tube 2. As a result, a part of a pressure tube fastened with a winding element can be completely hardened at the time of heat treatment, thereby securing a complete and excellent mechanical characteristic for a thermosetting system.
