PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining a switching threshold and associated electronic circuitry for implementing the method. SOLUTION: The present invention provides electronic circuitry for converting an input voltage signal (401) at a first voltage level into an output signal (402) at a second voltage level. An output unit (203) is disposed for outputting the output signal (402) using an output of the electronic circuitry. On the other hand, an input unit (101) is provided for inputting the input voltage signal (401) at the first voltage level. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of constituting a gas-insulated type surge arrester, realized by constituting the conventional gas-insulated type surge arrester which is prominent in simple design and can be manufactured at a low cost, and making it possible to manufacture, particularly, a suitable surge arrester. SOLUTION: An electric field control element (6) and a first plug type contact (16) of a plug connection are retained by a current conductor (S, R) of an insulator (17). A high-voltage electrode (4) of a varistor column, connected to the current conductor through the plug connection in a conductive state, has a second plug type contact (14) of the plug connection. SOLUTION: The particle trap (1) is arranged vertically on the lower side of a switching gap (4) at least one installation position. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board device having connection between contacts, provided with resistance to mechanical and thermal influence, and to provide a power semiconductor module provided with the device.SOLUTION: The present invention gives a method for electrically connecting a contact (7) to a contact (11), including a step for bonding bonding means (15) to the contact (7) of a first board (3) to from a loop (17), and electrically connecting the contact (11) formed on a projecting part (13) extending from an end part (14) of a second board (5) to the bonding means (15), wherein the first board (3) is placed under the second board (5). Further, the present invention is a device (1) of the first and second contacts (3, 5), wherein the contact (7) of the first board (3) is connected to the contact (11) of the second board (5) according to a power semiconductor module provided with the method and the device (1), giving a device, wherein the first board (3) is placed under the second board (5).
