    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water flow sensor for fire extinguishing equipment which is reduced in the size and requires easy maintenance.
    SOLUTION: An opening is provided on the secondary side of a check valve casing. A rotary arm for operating a switch is inserted into the casing from the opening to have both ends of an operational part located inside and outside the casing, respectively, and the rotary arm is pivotally supported to rotate by a horizontal rotary shaft perpendicular to the arm. The rotary arm is biased to rotate by a biasing means to make the operational part inside the casing of the rotary arm for operating the switch abut on the check valve. A switch means which is switched on by the rotation of the rotary arm is provided in the neighborhood of the end part of the operational part outside the casing of the rotary arm. The rotary arm rotates against the biasing force of the biasing means by the check valve based on an opening movement of the check valve in the direction to be opened by the water flow. Consequently, the switch means is switched on by the operational part outside the rotary arm.

The thus obtained product is put into triple times water, then the resultant is heated at 100 deg.C for >=3 h to obtain an extract containing several kinds of component or the like e.g. minerals or the like contained in the Salicornia, the extract is put into a bag for filtration and pressed to recover all of the filtrate.
