Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide vehicular seats in which a center seat is provided for seating in a gap between right and left seats and an occupant to be seated on the central seat can be restricted by a safety belt while utilizing the right and the left seats.SOLUTION: Vehicular seats include: seats 1 and 3 which are disposed in a lateral direction with a gap 8 interposed therebetween; seats 2 and 4 which are disposed at a rear side RR of the seats 1 and 3 and have the gap 8 therebetween; a central seat 7 which is movable back and forth to fill the gap 8; a first safety belt 18 which is freely engaged to and disengaged from a first buckle 14 which is supported by the seat 1, 3 and in which terminal portions 22, 23, 24, 25 are fixed to upper and lower positions of vehicle body side parts 9, 49; and a second safety belt 19 which is freely engaged to and disengaged from a second buckle 15 whose terminal portion is fixed to the seat 3.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a defect that excessive closure of a diffuser space reduces capacity or a flow rate flowing in a compressor while closure of the diffuser space can improve compressor performance resisting a surge state.SOLUTION: A control system has a surge standby state 310 configured to respond to detection of either a stall state or a surge state in a compressor, maintain a stall reaction state 306 reached in response to detection of a stall state or a surge reaction state 312 reached in response to detection of a surge state as at least one control state configured to close a flow path of a diffuser of the compressor, and maintain the dimension of the flow path of the diffuser in response to a modified surge state. Moreover, a surge standby state is reached in response to a modified stall state.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grid configuration which prevent short circuit of a battery cell due to growth of grids.SOLUTION: A battery grid as a constituent of a first electrode 10 comprises a frame having a top element, a bottom element, a first side element, and a second side element. The battery grid also includes a plurality of wires provided within the frame and defining a plurality of open areas, and a current collection lug 12 extending from the top element in a first direction. The battery grid further includes at least one feature provided in the battery grid that is configured to reduce the amount of growth of the battery grid in the first direction due to corrosion of the battery grid during the life of the battery grid.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for vehicles, which is capable of reducing the occurrence of malfunction of various lock operation means, and which has no risk of breakage by an error in an operation direction.SOLUTION: By lifting a reclining operation means 9, the reclining lock is released, forward inclining of a seat back 6 is started by release of the reclining lock, a slide operation means 3 is operated in a predetermined walk-in position in the halfway of the forward inclining, and the forward inclining of the seat back 6 is stopped by a forward inclining stop means, and by lifting a tilt-down operation means 10, the reclining lock is released and operation of the forward inclining stop device is stopped, so that the seat back 6 can be forward inclined on a seat cushion 4.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism of moving a reflection element and a cover means for a display device for an automobile by using a simple and stable system. SOLUTION: The display device includes: a projection module for generating an image for projection in a normal direction of looking of a user of the display device along an optical path; and a reflection element 13 that is capable of being moved between a first rest position and a second display position. The reflection element in its display position is provided in the normal direction of looking of the user, and the reflection element is subjected to rotary movement around a fixed axis of rotation when the reflection element is moved between its first rest position and its second display position. Abstract:
A vehicle utility seat in which the seat back can be rotated down onto the seat bottom to form a pass through opening into the trunk area of the vehicle. In addition, the seat bottom can be rotated upward to a stowed position immediately in front of the seat back providing increased cargo area in the rear seat area. A flat load floor is provided beneath the seat bottom for placing cargo thereon. The seat bottom and seat back are formed with complementary seating surfaces so that the seat bottom and seat back can nest together and occupy a minimal volume in the vehicle to maximize the cargo carrying capacity of the vehicle. In addition, the seat bottom and seat back are mounted to the vehicle for rotation about a common pivot axis.
